and bought a lifetime membership two weeks ago for $200 on the original offer? There was to be a "limited" number available at $200. Seems like the best deal should have gone to those who were willing to jump on board first. Oh well, you live and learn

kind of like when you buy a car and the rebates are better 2 months later, I doubt the dealership is going to give the difference.

I worked at a dealership and it happened to me when I bought my truck. The rebate was like $1250 when I bought it and then 2 months later, bam, $5000. I was thoroughly pissed.</p>

A rebate is simply a clever and enticive way of reducing the gross sale price of an item based on the current demand for said item.

Would someone expect to get a refund from Exxon for the $4.00 per gallon gas the purchased last summer, simply because the same gas is now $2.00 per gallon?

Had a customer buy a truck from me a couple years back then a few days later the rebate went way up so they called and asked if they could turn the truck back in and then buy it again with the bigger rebate. Stupid people.

(maybe $225) after the original promotion since the original was touted as only a fee available at that price. Then apply the new promotions to the slightly higher subscription. Still a great price and the 50 that took the first offer don't feel bad.
