from a high profile job. Do the speculations of Dan leaving for that open job start? This is kind of getting old fast.

For the following reasons:

1) Florida is always going to be good, so they may as well get a good coach. I mean, it's not like they'll ever be better than they were under Meyer. It's not possible. We don't have to play them that much anyway.
2) SEC West is tough enough without Arkansas being good. Their replacement won't be as good as BP.
3) Arkansas has no chance with Mullen.
4) The meltdown will be hilarious.

Stoops leaves? Oklahoma might try Mullen, but probably won't get him. Peterson, eh, who cares. Bobby P has the most upside for my own selfish entertainment.

Lets's say you are TCU. You are praying Florida doesn't come after Patterson. If Florida hires Stoops, then you have to pray Oklahoma doesn't come after Patterson. Then when Oklahoma hires Petrino, you pray that Arkansas doesn't come after Patterson. Then when Arkansas rehires Houston Nutt, you can breathe a sigh of relief. Patterson would never leave TCU for Ole Miss.

Florida's number one that is another stroy. There are many on their radar that will just say no and they are not interested like Stoops and Kelley.
