We know how they turned out but what were your thoughts before the call?

1. Going for it on fourth down? I was in the stands saying I didn't like the call. Of course once we got it I thought what a great call.

2. Would you have gone for the TD instead of the FG? Of course the right thing was to tie the game. But we were chatting after the game and some said "we have the number 4 team on the ropes, go for the knockout"

Thoughts? any others?

1. I was with you on that one, 7:22 left I thought we should punt, but after the play it seemed they had that play in their pocket with lots of confidence it would be open on 4th down, and of course it was.
2. Thought FG was the right call, extended the game and as an underdog that's what you want.

Going for the TD in that situation is a tacit admission that you don't think you can win in overtime if it comes to that.

FG was the correct call...however i seriously disagreed with the play calling down there. Yes we've had some success running, but i thought we should have tried passing more. Really hated the pass attempt to carroo... i think he is better at slants and crossing routes than jump balls.

1. I agree with going on 4th and the reason is that you may not get the ball back if you punted there.
2. FG was the correct call

didn't like going for it on 4th because I thought there was too much time to do that

fg was the absolute correct call, perhaps if on the 1 maybe you go for it. The 2nd down play killed us because it went from the the 2 to 4. This is the area where we had to make the plays to win the game. MSU did and RU didn't while the MSU defense held strong. A td there and the MSU drive becomes a little different as they have all the pressure on them to score a td

This game was lost in the 1st Quarter. RU could not muster any offense and RU needed to take the lead early to have any chance of winning. RU's defense played valiantly but against a top QB in the 4th Q that was too much to ask...

I don't think it's even debatable whether or not to go for it on fourth down. You just drove from the 5 all the way into MSU territory. Let the offense prove to you they can win the game.
With 7 minutes left, I don't want to give MSU an opportunity to make this a 2 score game. That was a physical game, and you could see both teams were tired. Great gutsy call. I would not have questioned it at all if we failed. I would have been more upset with a punt.
FG was the right call too. Inside the five is tough to score against MSU. No enough space to get much separation. I liked it

Agree. No clue what that guy is talking about. Yes, I noticed the three and outs. But clearly that guy did not see us answer immediately after the first MSU touchdown.

Lets add two

-2 carries for PJ
-Not playing Agudosi

More than curious. Just too much going on for this level of staff to process and utilize.

End of first half I thought we should've tried to move the ball downfield instead of running clock out. This was after the Interception.
