When Republicans are in power, they passed laws so that you have No Tax on Tips and No Tax on Overtime

Uhh, I think you missed who the dumb one was in that exchange. If we can't grow bananas here, why would we place a tariff(tax on Americans) on countries that can?

I used to have this argument with college kids back in my Food service days. We don't produce many,many foods that are loved in America.
We are blessed to be able to import them.
There are plenty of dumb libs, and all politicians seem to embellish the truth, but some of these things kill me.
It's just pure ignorance, and honestly, being a rich,spoiled country. We have so many things available in our grocery stores.
