Congrats Mr. Lincolnton. Like I said before the playoffs- Shelby vs Lincolnton in the western final.
Can't is a strong word the wolves are dangerous lets just let it play out.
The offense have not punted but 7 times all year, tonight was no different 0 punts

L'ton can certainly win with that O...especially if the backs run as hard as they did tonite....they schooled us, especially in the 2nd half...injuries and youth caught up with us tonite against a very, very good veteran squad..................If Rams continue to run this O as they have for the last 25 yrs...they have got to find some players that can actually CATCH the football.....the number of dropped this season absolutely staggers the mind.............................congrats Lincolnton....I see a Shelby trip in your future in 2 weeks...make it count......................

It's one week at a time one game at a time.....the nay sayers pretty much want to give Shelby the trophy....our Wolves over the course of time are still grinding but saying we "can't" beat Shelby with our offense is just.....let's say disrespectful.Our focus is the trophy but its still one week and one game at a time.....Shelby has always had a GREAT program....but the Wolfpacks focus at this point is Mountain Heritage......one should look at the road directly ahead of them first.....Good luck in the future to the Rams.....from what I saw you have some very deep talent and should go far down the stretch.....STAY BLESSED!
I as a little disappointed that y'all stopped us that one time, myself! I hope we can get back on track offensively next week against heritage...then we can start thinking about Shelby! Lol
Dropped balls were a big difference in the game tonight. Lincolnton caught there's we didn't. After several drops the momentum just died. If it wasn't for #15 bailing us out with a few receptions and saving the kick off run back it would have been worst.
There is alot that I could say about this season but I will not. Ram fans have seen it all year for themselves.
Good to meet you again Ronnie (23 Wolf)...wish we could've given you a better game...I had hopes for about 1 and a half qtrs...but talent and strength won out...we got whipped...we got some young players that I hope learned what you need to get back on top again....and it starts in the weight room....right now....we'll see............good luck..and hopefully these two programs will run into each other some time in the future.....................
Didn't u know that the playoffs is nothing more than the Shelby Invitational? I don't even know why the other teams are playing. This is a team, at 12-1, that can't be beaten. Lol. Could win the 3A/AA championships easily, they say. No no no. It is disrespectful to NOT have Shelby as your champion....
The lincolnton game was the first game that the Hill kid played on kick off return. It's funny how He probably had more kick return yards in that game then we had all year.
As I said as fans we have seen some very strange strategies going on all year.
I hope we play your squad you have been crying about Shelby since the playoffs started. I even saw you crying on Carolina preps. Shelby lives rent free inside your head.
It's because they have been force fed there by everyone who thinks that they can't be beaten. Perhaps they do win. But the way the fans just throw them in our faces like they are an invincible god is what's offputting. Glad you saw me crying on CP. I saw you bragging there too. What would u do if we did play you and won? Dont answer. Because that's just impossible.

GDG, you surely did predict Shelby V. Lincolnton in the semifinals but We got to get by Mountain Heritage. Also, in the thread Lincolnton at Reidsville, you predicted how that game would play out and you were correct.

I see that you Lincolnton cats are starting to feel yourselves. You guys have a good team, no doubt. However, you guys lost to the only good teams that you played in the regular season, South Point and East Lincoln. Smh...

Good luck at Shelby. Mt. Heritage is a good team but I don't think they can match up with the Wolves power running game. I knew it would be tough for the Rams to score much but at least we kept the 200+ games scoring in a row record in tact.
If QB Lee is unable to go for the Golden Lions, it will be a smash mouth deluxe game for sure.
It's not the fact that we are feeling ourselves but as the other poster said......it's old being thrown around in every ones face about the Lions.....Yes we lost our only two games to great foes this season against East and South Point.....but your only loss came to....Oh yeah another great opponent......Crest.....I'll say it again.....one week and game at a time......Enjoy your Turkey Day!
Alot of fans show up often and louder when their teams are playing almost flawless ball. I didn't post back when, but I read this board back when Richmond county fans were some of the most obnoxious, Reidsville fans posted more than enough(lol) when they had a streak of games and titles going, and were a LITTLE on the arrogant(not as bad as Crest and Shelby
) side. But yeah Cleveland and Richmond county(not so much these days) take it to another level more often than not. I kinda wondered how Lincoln County fans would be if they weren't so often in the shadow of Reidsville or Shelby, kinda like how Butler and Hough(as of recent)had been in Indy and MC's shadow. I don't take anyone here that seriously so I mostly get a chuckle out of 'loud' fans and their 'haters'.

Mostly right Stan ... Hill had 3 KO returns for 104 yards against Lincolnton, including a 45-harder. He had two other returns during the season for 19 yards. For the season, he had a team-leading 123 yards on five returns for a 24.6 average. Chestnut was second with 116 yards on six returns. Durham had the best KO return average: 25.5 on four returns. I liked the way Hill caught the kickoffs in his hands instead of trapping against his pads. Hill is a sophomore and Durham and Chestnut are juniors.
I really can't recall a HS fan based that feels themselves more than SHS... You guys remind me of Cowboys fans. How about Lincolnton and Shelby handle business Friday before we take these talks any further. South Point gave y'all a pretty good game...I think East might, too. We may not be as good as Shelby, but that will be truly hard to quantify unless we get to play next week. We have always believed the road to 'Ship runs thru Shelby, after all. So...beat Mt. Pleasant! We will try to do our part.
