that's great for the physical part...hopefully he won't be affected mentally.

Wonder if you hold him to later in the weekend. If he is really feeling good, I guess not. But it would be nice to know you have him available with a day or two extra rest/rehab particularly if we could skate by without him on Friday. Tough call.

Did the ball hit his left leg or his right?....

Didn't see it posted. Will probably pitch Friday.

Would seem to me that if it hit his plant leg (left leg) that would bother him more pitching this week than if it hit his step leg (right leg).

If it came down to it, I'd rather have him at 100% Sunday than 80% Friday. Not saying it would but if he's not pretty close to 100% Friday I'd hold him.

Lindgren has a bone.**

Awesome work.

But yeah... I hate saying anything de facto, but I knew it was him Sunday. He was walking pretty normal and not on crutches or in a brace, and I doubt they'd let him do so if they felt anything was in jeopardy. If they really thought it was a ligament, most docs will put them in a brace at the very least.

I wasn't too worried when I saw him.

It was the outside of his left leg. Remember guys he is a LHP. He is one tough kid and if cleared will toe the rubber Friday night!
