Ball off side of knee MRI tomorrow

Coach thinks he will be ok, but as he said "John Cohen's not a doctor" so we will see.

Why does this **** happen every year before we play LSU? Last year it was our lineup. This year it's Woodruff and Lindgren.

It could also affect him mentally if he returns next week. He may not be as effective with pitch selection and placement as he might think about where he threw the seed that came back at him. I hope his knee is okay, but I also hope he is a mentally tough young man to deal with whatever the results are.

If you have ever been on the mound, you would know, its part of the game. I promise you, when he steps back on the mound, he will not think about it, ever. A line drive glancing off of your knee is equivalent to a short hop in the nads....the **** hurts...puts some ice on it and get ready for the next one.

This is very true. My first game in college I was tipping my pitches and didn't realize it. About the time I started realizing something was up a guy smoked a line drive off my inner thigh...little too close for comfort but I was able to stay in. Even after the next pitch didn't think about it again. So highly doubt he's going to give it another thought after he takes the mound again
