I might would swap CT and Henderson. All depends if CT is hitting the ball down in BP. If ct is in the two hole I swap detz and renfroe.

We need to get Rea at bats before this weekend. Can not seen him having a good game his first game back vs Nola.

I do not like Pirtle besides his glove. But I think Cohen will play him.

I'd be down with that 1-9. If Pirtle could just hit .230 his glove makes him valuable. The most mind boggling thing about this season is not seeing Detz play 2B. It makes absolutely no sense.

Norris baffles me even more than that. I guess it's just more believable to me that Detz maybe just isn't as strong of a middle infielder as Cohen would like. I see NO reason why Daryl Norris isn't the full time starter at 3B though.

Except Rea is obviously hurt and Detz is our best backup. I wouldn't be surprised to see him move to second once Rea is healthy.

I'd be fine with that. Like many in this thread have mentioned, it would thrill me to see us come out with Detz at 2B, Rea at 1B, and Norris at 3rd. I could even live with Renfroe in the 4. Something like this....

I'd just as soon have Frost as Pirtle......Pirtle may have a little more pop in

his bat but his average is horrific and they are equal in the field from what I've seen.........

I've been wondering that too, especially after Detz's success and Norris' defensive mistakes. Why not at least try Detz at 3rd and Norris at 1b for a couple games? I'm sure Cohen has seen Detz field 1000 ground balls over there, so he knows something we don't. All I can figure is that it's still Norris' spot. We need him in the lineup, and who do we have that will field that much better and bat within 50 points of Norris? Nobody.

Fyi - "Detz what I'm talkin' bout!" is mine. I invented it.
