and Bo quoted Stansbury speaking about his future that Stricklin should look at his 14 years and how competitive we are with the upper echelon of the conference.

Sounds like Stansbury will go out swinging...unfortunately.

So much for him knowing when his time is done. I had hoped he would have come to the realization that his heart just isn't in it anymore.

I've been on the "Wait and see" train this year, but I've seen all I need to see now. It's time. We need a change.

being that I think there's less than a 10% chance that a new coach will come in and accomplish significantly more than Stansbury, but this whole thing has gotten beyond wins and losses. It's time for new energy, new direction, and players looking like they actually give a damn about something when they're out on the court.

all four from the east. Ky and Fla (2 nat champ) and Vandy have been much better than anything in the west. LSU, Aub, Ark, UM have all been lower tier the last 10 years and Al average. Stans has a good record against them but after that is not so good.

what I've said for the past 2 seasons. I'm sure some of the geniuses that believe Stans can't even tie his shoes would put me in the "wanting to keep Stansbury crowd," but if they check my posts, I've actually stated that I felt it was time for a change over 2 seasons ago (based soley on the fact I felt Stansbury was exhausted). Like many people who know more than your message board heroes (to steal a line from Bo), He's a lot better coach than given credit for. However, there seems to be a shelf life with coaches these days and it seems to be about 8-10 years, barring your outliers.

That's just the way it is. I appreciate a very good first 7 years and a decent last 7 (we were dysfuntional, frustrating, and had no heart, but the records weren't too bad). But it's time.
