If UVA were to come back and win and Game 3 cannot be finished by Tuesday night, the committee decides who advances to Omaha.

Tomorrow looks like it could be a wash. Probably playing Tuesday.

This is also an official ballgame with us in the lead 5-3. I'm guessing the NCAA would not call a game for weather with Omaha on the line.

Who the 17 decided that? There is absolutely no reason for that ****. What a terrible rule... Imagine if we couldn't play at all for a few days because of rain (highly unlikely I know, but for arguments sake) and we had a one game lead and were up 5-3 in the second game with six out to go, but the committee decided UVA was the "more deserving team" because of their "entire body of work." Absolutely ridiculous rule.

Probably the same guy who created the coin flip rule

I understand coin flips determining home time is multi team regionals, but in the supers? Protect the home seed and give them game three. Not that I am complaining. THIS YEAR ANYWAY.

Sorry, I guess a rule can be written anyway you want it but that doesn't change the fact that if there is no more baseball played there are already 2 official games in the books.

You're right about 2 official games. The rain shouldn't bother us at all. In fact, we should hope it rains till Wednesday.

The OP said "IF UVa comes back to win game two". That would mean series tied 1-1. Then it's not so absurd- but definitely a last resort.
