King's Fork began the third period with the football. After a run of 12 by Isiah Gilliam, the Bulldogs face 2nd & 8 and after a short pickup. It's QB D'andre Artis-Boone darting ahead for 14 to move the chains again. A penalty on the Bulldogs, along with a pass breakup, ends up bringing up 3rd & 16 for King's Fork. The Bulldogs are unable to convert and very fortunate on that series as they approached midfield there wasn't a turnover with Smith defender Quali Price nearly intercepting them along the near sideline.

Oscar Smith gets great field position at the King's Fork 47 with 9:31 to go in the third period after a 28-yard punt return from Price, who once suited up for Green Run.

The Bulldogs were about to get a stop they needed until Lonnie Andrews III found the most athletic guy on the field - the 4-Star headed to Michigan - got loose over the middle and was able to scoot in the end zone.

King's Fork goes 3 & out on the ensuing possession, with a pair of incomplete passes bookending a 2-yard run from Preston Hall III.

Smith takes over at the King's Fork 45 with 6:51 on the third quarter clock at about say 8:54 PM EST.

It's now 4:02 to go in the third period and SMith has it at the KF 21 before 2nd & 10 at 9:05 PM EST. Now, we've run about seven or eight plays, but it seems like only two because of several penalties on each side and stoppages.

King's Fork decided not take take a sack that would bring up 3rd & long, instead opting for the holding penalty yardage. It ended up biting them with a roughing the passer penalty on 3rd & 24, wiping away an INT fom Ernest Jones Jr. and extending the Tigers possession.

Two runs get halted to minimal gains as the Tigers defense - headed up by edge rusher Na'Rod Jarvis (Buffalo commit) and All-State LB Malachi White - are keeping the runs to small bites, not large bursts.

King's Fork is not helping itself with 10 penalties for 87 yards either.

The 3rd & 5 pass down the field is incomplete. King's Fork, which was 7 of 10 for 135 yards through the air in the first half with a couple of TD's, has misfired on its first five tries through the air here in the second half. Kymonte Bynum, a really talented sophomore for Oscar Smith, is doing a nice job at one of the corner slots. Jayden Covil, the UVA commit, is occupying the other and having a cleaner game than last Saturday against Indian River.

The big deal is that they've kept Anthony Henderson Jr. - one of the state's top prospects from the Class of 2027 - in check to just one catch for six yards. Sure, Zy'Dar'Eyus Wynn has broke off for 5 grabs for 115 yards, but the other guy has been quiet.

A short punt by King's Fork gives the TIgers great field position at the Bulldogs 35 with just over 11 minutes to play and with a chance to put this one to bed.

Travis Johnson caught the curl pattern, spun away from the corner and then glided his way into the end zone for the rest of the 32-yard TD catch.

Ken'morris Watts sacks D'andre Artis-Boone on 4th & 11 from the Tigers 21 for a loss of 8 to make a turnover on downs.

Smith takes over at their own 21 with 6:16 to play, comfortably in front 35-14 in this one.

Lonnie Andrews III will likely finish up this night 11 of 24 for 296 yards and 3 TD's passing.

His go-to guy - Michigan pledge Travis Johnson - has 7 catches for 196 yards and a pair of scores. His 14-yard catch helped set up teammate Reginald Wallace with a 6-yard TD run.

The Tigers have run the ball 24 times for 136 yards.
