Fr those of you so up in arms over Day, where were you when one of your players tries to take out one of our player's knee at the end of Nutt's last Egg Bowl. I don't seem to remember all of this outrage. I know this has been asked, but I have yet to see an answer from anyone.

Day should stick to beating 180lb frat guys (4 or 5 on 1) so bad he ends up spending a couple days in the hospital.**

Frankly, I just don't get why UM fans even give a **** in the first place. I've never seen so many people that offended and downright furious over something that didn't even happen to them. Day's performance Saturday had no impact on them whatsoever.

No kidding..do bear fans REALLY want OUR Center out against Texas A&M? I'm figuring that the rest of the SEC west might want State playing their best against the top team in the West.

That was a hell of a lot dirtier than anything Day did last night. I still think Day looked a bit nonchalant or pedestrian about it, but even with that said, there is nothing anyone can say or do that says outright it was intentional. What Sowell did to us in the egg bowl was absolutely, 100%, without a doubt a *****-*** dirty move and there is zero debate.

By the way, what about the keemdeechee brothers beating people up at frat parties and cussing out State fans at the beach? Anyone want to expound on that?

Didn't one of the ole miss players tell a reporter that their goal was to hurt Conner in the egg bowl?

I think they have amnesia, when it comes to what their own players did or do.

How many times should he step on people against A&M? Some of you don't even acknowledge that it's unsportsmanlike. Some on here are gleeful and applaud this behavior because similar unsportsmanlike things have happened in the past to MSU players. Some on here don't even believe either act was intentional. Some on here are joyful because said player has a "mean streak". He hurt two players and one didn't return to play another down.

How many A&M guys do you want "ole mean streak" to step on unintentionally? Yes, I am a bear and in no way am I endorsing any conduct by an Ole Miss player that is intended to hurt another player. That **** is wrong and has no place in the sport. So how many aggies should Dillan step on and hurt?

This answer can be derived two ways.

1. Take a tootsie roll pop. Undo wrapper. Place in mouth and count the licks until you get to the center. Then take the stick and shove it in your left eye. Subtract 4 out of 5...carry the remainder.

Or simply

2. Hold your breath and count to 1000 (not out loud)

Enough of them so they decide to stop spearing our players when they're down, like those LSU guys did.

You're right. There's no room for such rough housing in such a noble and graceful game.**

Enforcing is taught from Pop Warner all the way to the bigs. In every single sport. I bet you get your rocks off when one of the Cards beans a guy for taking to long to round the bases after a homerun/their pitcher beans one of your players.

I'll say it again, the Rebs choose whichever narrative fits their bill and ride it home. I'm sure not if but when one of your players does something absolutely unsportsmanlike it'll be because he was sticking up for Dr. Bo or whoever, no because he's dirty.

ETA: No one has brought up the fact that he did this after one of their players kicked one of our guys in the balls after a play.

I wasn't reading sixpack when that happened nor was I anywhere near a tv watching that beatdown in 2011. I watched it this morning and it's a dirty move and was completely unnecessary.

But, if I did condone what Sowell did, I'd have to totally agree with what Dillon did. You guys hate what Sowell did but are all for Day stomping on folks "however many times it takes to win".

I don't agree with what Day did if they were intentional but give me a 17'ing break with all of the Rebel outrage when you seem to overlook your own players taking cheap shots

As UMiss fans, why are y'all even bitching about it in the first place? Good Lord, it's driving some of your fans mad and it has nothing to do with "your" team. Why? As I said earlier, if anything I figured your fans would be taking up for Day considering just how much LSU is your real rival and whatnot. I'm seriously wondering if a few UMiss fans are gonna have to be admitted to the state hospital over this.

Maybe if we start almost killing people at frat parties we will be seen in a better light? Where is your outrage over the keemdeechee stuff? Shirley you weren't living under a rock 4 months ago.

Not enough RT interns in the world for the whataboutism you need here. It happened on primetime on ESPN via skycam. Plus the guy that did it also got a personal foul penalty for a comically late hit. I was watching with some people that went to CBU and we all had the same negative reaction. Maybe a CBU girls soccer players headbutted a Rhodes player five years ago and he should shut up?

I will give

you some credit. At least you have the balls to reply, unlike the other rebel troll clowns.

I'm sure at the time that Sowell did it, you were in an uproar with your other OM buddies about it.

What Sowell did is indefensible. It was a dirty play that could have really affected somebody's ability to make a living. Like I said, I didn't watch the second half of that game much less the final play. But yeah, what DT, Bradley, Nickoe, and Dillion did were dirty cheapshots that should never be overlooked much less encouraged and, in some cases, applauded by either fan base.

I'm sure it will be reviewed by the league and if punishment is appropriate, he'll receive it. It wasn't as flagrantly dirty as many other incidents mentioned here, and was arguably unintentional. If it hadn't have happened twice, there would be no issue. I could see it going either way.

As many as it takes.

Grow a pair. Anyone calling for a suspension obviously never played a down of football in their life. This isn't dancing with the stars; its a 17ing collision sport. Lets make the players wear tampons so the pussies at home watching our games won't feel intimidated.

What Nickoe die to Bo was just to humiliate him not hurt him. If you recall Bo

had hit Nickoe under the chin with a forearm when they were going out of bounds earlier in the game and Bo had been talking **** the whole game.

Try again.

In summation, the actions by Bradley, DT, and Bo were cheapshots. Nickoe "bumping" Bo in the back of the head was okay because his intent was to humiliate. Dillon's actions were okay because you can't determine intent and he simply had no other choice but to barely step on two players injuring both with Godcheaux returning to play. Gotcha.

As an OL, I can tell you. This stuff happens ALL OF THE TIME.

Not saying it is good because Day's lack of discretion definitely caused us a little bit of a black eye in our great game. And, he will be lucky if the SEC office does not suspend him for 1/2 of the aTm game.

But, you people that are crying foul on this really need to get a life. This happens on virtually every play. What hurt Day was the fact that the first time he did it, it was WAY too in the open and obvious. The 2nd time would have never even be called out if not for the first one. The 2nd one was a lot closer to being excusable. But, the stuff that goes on in the OL/DL is beyond foul and offensive. Punches, scratches, twisting legs, arms, untying shoes, landing on another player, stepping on another player, poking in the eye, grabbing balls, pulling hair. IT ALL HAPPENS IN EVERY PILE THERE IS. Again, I am not justifying it all. I am saying that Day needs to get his in check because he will be a focal point of it for the rest of the season.

Nickoe's move was not "classy" but it certainly was not a cheap shot. Get over

it. Do you acknowledge the elbow under the chin from Bo when they were out of bounds?

What the world???

Too busy to go back and find it...I'm sure others here saw it.
