the little rape thing in Oxford is growing and daddy ain't taking the money. Involves a recruit as well. I know my loafer friends are gonna slam me but it is my duty to pass these things along*.

Interesting but really not surprising. I think a lot of us expected there was

way more to this situation than anyone had the balls to report.

Didn't we hear the same exact rumor about Nkimdeche beating up someone as well? I guess it's that time of the year.

Damn. You are taking retard to the next level now.

They have already charged the guy. I think it would be a little late to buy them off once charges get filed.

Do you think the NCAA will put this in their Double Secret Probation file, or does this kind of stuff not count?

I asked Deep the same question because I was hesitant to post it with the

statement from Oxford PD but he said it is still brewing.

But CL "reported" no other athletes involved.

That was the most obvious Kill the story/********/fluff piece I think I've ever seen.

There was some RN information in the message as well but I'm not going

there at this time. Reports are he has become a high maintenance nightmare for Freeze.

Not really. Once charges are filed it's even more valuable for the accuser to no longer cooperate with the prosecution. Not saying anything about the Oxford situation as I don't know anything about it, just pointing out that charges being filed doesn't mean a civil settlement can't help the criminal case go away. If you have a victim that all the sudden wants it to go away, are you really going to subpoena her?

"Little rape thing"? ******* dude.

That aside, if you think you know something, put it out there. If it happened it will come out eventually, so why sit on it?

I only know what I was told and it comes from someone who has proven to be a

reliable source of information in the past. I am not going to name any names even though I was given a couple. The way these things go the upset parties are eventually calmed down and nothing comes of it but Deep said the father is very upset, understandably. I apologize for those of you offended by Little used with Rape, poor choice on my part.

If it is squashed then you guys will get to rake me over the coals down the road on how bad my information is*. I'm sure there is furious research going on right now*.

I don't think anything more happened than what is already known.

But...you can make something go away. Dontae Stallworth ran over a guy while drunk and killed him. After reaching a settlement with the family he never spent a day in jail.

Now looking at that logically, I can't imagine that there is anyone in their right mind willing to fork out that kind of money to keep someone quite. Just to keep a player on their college team of choice? IF there is, then I think I will have lost all hope in humanity.

I think there's a reason the location where this happened is being covered up.

Serious question and not a flame. Are these the same sources that told you last year Ole Miss received a letter from the NCAA and that it was unprecedented?

Is this the same poorly nicknamed source who told you Fedora was going to be the Ole Miss coach, that Rodney Hood was not liking Duke and was homesick, that Ole Miss had a serious letter of investigation from the NCAA, that transportation issues were going to bring down Ole Miss and that we had a great shot at Tony Conner? I just want to make 100% sure before I ignore this completely.

Yes, I understand that speculation about that, but even if it did happen at their house in their bedroom...unless they were directly involved, there is nothing that can or will be done to them.

And as I said, surely there is not someone that is willing to hand over that kind of hush money and risk being attached to that allegation if it came to light.

Someone's life is possibly ruined, either her's, Bobby Hill's or a combination of both. And the fans that are hoping that RK was involved just to embarrass UM is pretty sickening.

Does it bother you that your sources are always wrong? And if it doesn't, should it?

You're following in the footsteps of another guy named Coach that was always wrong. Keep up the good work.

Oxford PD made an official statement that they had concluded that the offender acted alone and that nobody else was involved in any way. Why would they make an official statement like that if it's not true or if they are not certain of what they said.
66….your "Deep" guy. Was he there that night in the room? How does he know things that even the police officers don't know? How do you know that the police report was totally wrong?
It's apparent that everything is out in the open. Nothing is being covered up with a "daddy", etc. The player has been dealt with and indefinitely suspended. The girl herself told police he was the only one involved (that's where they got their info). How does your "Deep" know more about it than she does??
My position is…let's see where the legal process takes it.

Exactly what I said to Deep and TB2 earlier in the thread. I thought it was an

open and shut case and he said it is not. He is probably being fed bad information but he does get a great deal of accurate information. I have said this before, nobody know how many of these rumors are based in facts that never see the light of day because they get handled or things change.

Rumors are still encouraged...

5. Posting of rumors, innuedo, second hand knowledge, he said/she said, and the like are not only allowed, they are encouraged. Feel free to share any info you feel is solid. Be aware that being wrong opens you up for endless ridicule.

Problem is being wrong doesn't mean the rumor was wrong at the time it was

circulating. Things get squashed and things change but often rumors have some basis in fact at the time.

I thought we were all just having a little fun here but I guess some folks think this is Fox News.

Keep on posting rumors if you want. Just if they don't ever come to light - people might call you out on it.

**If this is Fox News, you posting incorrect information is modus operandi.

Funny you should say that because I feel like the culture of the board has changed over the past several years. Seems like there was a time when everyone enjoyed a rumor for the entertainment value. Rumors about the bears would have their camp stirred up, and vice-versa with rumors about our players. Seems like now people get angry and want sources cited. Like this is some academic discussion about the laws of physics.

Get over it people; it's a message board.

I will agree that if there is a rumor that hurts State - I will either lock it up or delete it if it's real bad. This is a MSU board first and foremost.

That has changed from when we started.

Unless it is started by an Ole Miss poster, because they run this board. **********************************************
