He either steps on our player or jump over him and land on the LSU guy. He didn't jump far enough. The only problem - which I don't really see as a problem - is he didn't check on the LSU guy after landing on him. Both times - he avoided one State and one LSU player and landed on another LSU player.

DS, I respect you, but that is dirty as hell. Stop trying to sugarcoat it. Not to mention he does it later in the game and apparently did it to some guy for Auburn. He's a dirty player. He just is.

I think he actually stomped on the guy at Auburn. I agree with that. Tell me what he could have done once he jumped over the pile? It was reaction. He was going to land on the guy regardless.

Tell us your thoughts on Sowell...

As for the video, I think the 2nd clip needs to be taken totally out of the discussion. That one looked totally innocent to me. The first one could be up for debate but I just really don't see anything definitive that would make me call him "dirty"..

If you can find me a 280+ lb guy in knee braces that says its easy to change directions on a dime, I'll concede that he's dirty. The second one doesn't look like anything to me. The first one looks questionable but no where near definitive. I agree with the person that said the best evidence is that the four lsu players watching it didn't brawl

I don't have a problem with it, glad he was hustling down the field

O line played with an edge all night, looked extremely physical

It has pissed OM fans all over the web, and most LSU fans are pretty indifferent. It's one of the strangest internet-reactions I have ever seen.

No. No way that is intentional. He was jumping over Dak and the LSU player and the LSU player rolled into where Dillon was about to step. The Ole Miss propoganda machine can spin it any way they want to but it's pretty clear that that was not intentional. Both LSU fans and Ole Miss fans are upset and are looking for any way possible to downplay our win. We beat LSU up and down the field for 58 minutes and they, as well as Ole Miss, just can't accept that.

He could have stopped. It was clear his momentum was done and could have stopped. Instead, he chose to take a leap and the only place he could find to land was that guy's stomach. And when he did it again, the other guy got it in the nuts. Once is an accident. Two times isn't. The third time, you're a piece of ****. You all know it.

This does does not take away from the ***-whipping you laid on LSU last night.

I'll agree to disagree. When you are head hunting to take someone's head off, you just can't stop. He jumped over the pile to avoid contact with two players.

Again, keep your *** off the ground if you don't want to get stomped on.

It was a physical whipping reminiscent of the JWS days. Just awesome.

The refs did nothing.
The LSU players who were standing right there and saw it point blank did nothing.
The LSU bench/Les Miles did nothing.

That tells you everything you need to know. Ole Miss fans are getting pretty desperate because they know they're probably going to finish below us in the SEC standings for the 5th straight year.

His late hit down on our own goal line was far worse than either of the two stomps. That was way after the whistle and totally unnecessary. I think he was pissed off at someone all night; maybe some LSU players suggested he had a bad haircut and/or ugly tats....

Since we're calling opposing offensive linemen dirty, check out Bradley Sowell blatantly try taking out Cherrington's knee on the last play of the 2011 Egg Bowl. Skip to the 3:25 mark.

There is also video of one of the UM GAs grabbing Calhoun on the sideline of last year's Egg Bowl.

Serious question, but

did the Sowell egg bowl incident from a few years back illicit such disgust from you as this seems to have?

In both cases Day was in the air before the defender rolled to a stop. I am guessing he doesn't wear those knee braces due to all the wear and tear from moonlighting as as long jumper with the track team. Christ, it seems that LSU fill all those new seats with The Little Sisters Of The Poor. Somebody should have told them this is conference ball and not a charity game. They could have told them that the players are supposed to wear cups under their big boy pants but they might have to put it in terms they could understand. Romans vs Christians and ****.

Specifically look at what number 78 in the white jersey did to number 74 in the maroon jersey. Hey Rebel7, what do you have to say about that?

The problem is if you penalize Dillon where do you stop? Nut squeezes in the pile? Dak got a helmet to helmet hit when running that wasn't called. Redmond pushed an LSU receiver in the face on a pass route after the ball went incomplete. The refs saw both of these plays and did not call a flag. Both players did not go to the ref to complain, either did coaches/trainers.

Shut the 17 up rebel...I applaud him for being nasty. I just wish he had crushed

His nut sack so he couldnt reproduce anymore corndog coonasses. This isn't no game of patty cake out there *****. When I played I tried to poke people's eyes out in a pile up. Yeah I was a nasty thug and loved every minute of it. I did reform later in life and now I am a preacher.

The funniest thing out of all of this is that UM people seem way more pissed about Day POSSIBLY stepping on an LSU player than most MSU fans were when Sowell blatantly went after one of our guy's knees. Why do they even give a ****? I have no idea.

There is just so much hurt butt coming from Oxford after the win last night- and I'm enjoying the hell out of it.

Face it. We mud-stomped LSU, while LSU will annhilate you. You bears just jealous and feeling Estrogeny. Your boosters spent 10's of thousands of dollars to bring 5-* players to Oxpatch and they're not near as good as our 2 and 3-*'s. That's because our players love OUR school and OUR state, while yours are there "as a bidness decision".

The best part

to me is how if you disparage OM or something like this happens, you can bet those mother 17ers will be over here before you can blink. However, when you point out the lunacy of their hypocrisy, they disappear and are nowhere to be found.

Boom! Isn't there a story about Kent Hull gauging some guy's eyes out because he kept nut taping Bond in the dogpile or some ****? It's football, dammit. What do you think those linemen are saying to each other between plays? "How's your relationship with Christ?"

Dillon is a team captain for a reason. He's not good enough to play at the next level but he's a good college player, and a big reason for that is he's got a mean streak that rivals the worst of them. IF he meant it, he probably had a good reason.

These guys have chest plates. C'mon. This is one of the craziest things I've ever read on here. Especially considering it's coming from a bunch of fans of a school with a track record for being SUPER classy.****

No joke. I guess they all just tuck tail and pretend this thread doesn't exist when they get called out and realize that they don't have a leg to stand on.

Or hell, maybe one of them will come over here, randomly change the subject, and try to accuse us of rushing the field after every Egg Bowl win since the turn of the century. That's sort of been their go-to line lately.

So when does the UM campaign to bench the Kimdeeches start? You are judge and jury on Day... Let's be judge and jury on them. A boy was damn near killed at a frat party and you cheer for them on the field don't you? Does your petty hypocrisy have any bounds whatsoever?

if you would really say what you are mad about we will help you through it. Is it Dak being mentioned by the media as a darkhorse Heisman candidate and not being pushed by MSU that has you troubled? Recent renovation and expansion at Davis Wade that has left Vaught Hemingway in the dust? Tell us what it is and we will help you through your anger. Don't resort to blatant hypocrisy when you have players that aim for opponents knees at the end of an egg bowl blowout or cheering for players who are being sued for damn near killing someone.

My thoughts...

I think the first one was intentional, the second was not, and the late hit was reactionary to something that I didn't see. But the bigger point here is that I don't give a flying **** if they were all intentional. It's about ******* time we start playing with a f'n edge again. F LSU and their corndog asses. Hearing these dipshits and media pricks whine about it just means we are winning.

Its hilarious to me the commoness amongst most tsun fans. Their fans on here are just like my tsun "friends." You clearly prove them wrong or show their hypocrisy and try to force them to choose one side of the argument, while the other side clearly proves the opposite point, and they disappear.

I'm wondering why there's such a large contingent of UMiss fans that care about these incident(s) in the first place. You'd think because of their never ending hatred of LSU that they'd take our side on this, if anything.

Rebels7 is one of the most obsessed people I`ve witnessed on any message board anywhere. He (or someone using his name) has even been on some "neutral" boards trying to drum up anger at Day. The guy is a whack.
