Bama may have pissed it away, don't care. I am looking at MSU @ # 1 for the first time in my life. Thanks Bears.
Henry is not BAMA's power back. Neither are a power back. They both need quality blocking to get up to speed. They ran off LT the entire drive behind Robinson. What you were able to do was stack the box and dare Blake Sims to throw down field, which he has shown he can't do very well. You're pass D won that game. That and Blake Sims missed pass to OJ Howard in the end zone. Had he thrown the ball over his left shoulder we wouldn't be having this conversation.

I already addressed that. The refs called every borderline call that they could in order to make up for that. What if Jones didn't fumble? Take 7 away from you.Fair enough, but if we are gonna play the "what if" game, what if the bogus Bama facemask/strip/td had been called correctly? That's 7 points not on the board and said throw is no longer being talked about either.
Every borderline holding call went against bama, and never against om. Add to that the pass interference that wasn't called against om. BAMA's offense isn't designed around a power or finesse back. It's designed around fresh legs. They used Yeldon just as much in short yardage as the do Henry. When they do line up in power, they bring in Jalston Fowler at FB. Fowler was a power RB at TB last year, but has been moved over. You don't have a clue what color my glasses are. Your premise that you shut down their power back is insane. Please tell me how Ole Miss got the benefit of the doubt throughout that game.
And yes, Henry is the power back (as in the guy they try to pound with). Telson gets a share of those, but most of his runs will be to the outside with a pulling guard. The stats show this.
Take off your maroon glasses for the slightest of seconds.
Wow, you're really writing your own history book.
Check out Henry's bio from the Alabama website . He's 240 pounds and is most definitely the power back. They were ineffective at pounding him up the middle (what most State fans state would be OM's downfall). Earlier in the game they were effective at running Yeldon to the left side but Wommack made some defensive adjustments and that was shut down which forced Sims to throw.
It's difficult to even address your "didn't cause Jones to fumble" claim. Channing Ward definitely punched the ball out and recorded a "forced fumble." I have a feeling you're just an Ole Miss fan trying to make State fans look crazy because this is pure hogville level of batshit.
It was all over message boards after Balis left, people suggesting he was forced to leave for that reason. Just good intertube rumors. Nothing more.
