He keeps adjusting his hat in the same spot, then rubs his fingers together behind his back.

See if he keeps doing it. It's on his right side.

Doesn't do it out of the windup as to lessen the likelihood of getting caught.

Clever.

He does! Look on the top right side of his cap bill. You can see a discoloration!

He does it every time. Looks like he is pressing his thumb under the bill and then rubbing his fingers behid his back.

It shows a big dark spot (tar) on the bill of his hat and that pitcher touching it after almost ever pitch.

He got through several innings of his game doing it.

EVEN if it's true, 1) you won't convince me we've never done it 2) good luck finding that hat tomorrow.

Watch the replay of him pitching, and it's obvious. He doesn't touch his hat until someone gets on base. Then he starts going to it after almost every pitch. Suddenly, his stuff looks like Lindgren's.

You pu can see him rubbing his fingers behind his back while he's getting his signs too after he touches that Tar.

How could someone so accurately identify such a minute series of details in a sporting event high on drugs?

Really, who cares? If he did it and didn't get caught, so what? It's not like he's the first one. And I bet we've got a pitcher or two who's done it too.

It couldn't possibly be dirt or oil deposits from doing it all season long on the same hat. Nope, definitely tar.

I mean really, have you ever played a sport? Worn a hat?

I would just ask that you have enough respect for the game that you don't put it on the top of your hat for the entire world to see. Put some on your glove, use the sunscreen that mixes with rosin, have it on your shoulder under your jersey, but on the TOP of your hat?

At least get creative with it.

It'd be interesting to see if he used the tar on the hat trick in some of his other appearances this year. Maybe engie can put his data-mining skills to use and see what he can dig up.

Oh no, no, no, no. I don't want you to be confused, little *****. I'm nowhere near mad right now. I couldn't be happier. Knowing that it grinds your little gears so much that you're analyzing the tape trying to figure out how we cheated makes me laugh, little *****.

It wasn't tape, it was on live TV. It was literally after two pitches. You could just tell it was such an awkward movement to go to the same spot on his hat over and over again.

Dude don't come on here gloating

MSU fans did NOT come on rebelfaithful or redcuprebellion and gloat when they made it to Omaha multiple times so how about we have some class and not do the same?

And FYI it would be you're, not "your"

now that I have your attention with my horrible grammar, please stop representing a bad portion of our fan base and have some class.

I'm not gloating

I'm calling him a little ***** because he's acting like a little *****. His response to my (rightfully) calling him a little ***** was "4 out of 5." I responded in kind.

Try and read the whole conversation.

ETA: I've come on here and gloated in the past for which I was rightfully banned. I didn't come here to gloat. I came to read, and I found Stratdawg acting like a little *****. I called him out on it, and he continued to act like a little *****. I do apologize for this thread becoming longer than it should have. Several MSU fans pointed out that Stratdawg was acting like a little *****, but I was the only one he responded to.

There's no excuse for misuse of "your" and "you're". That's on me. I will not apologize for using prepositions at the end of sentences.
