Lodging Near Tuscaloosa

Going to the game Saturday but am looking for ideas on where to stay. Have any of you stayed outside of Tuscaloosa and if so where would you recommend?

No way am I shelling out $200 per night for the Sleep Inn.

Just drive up to Birmingham. Plenty of lodging there and without the "gameday fee" you will get in Tuscaloosa.
