I called this before the season. all the sunshine pumpers were saying 7-5, 8-4 blah blah blah


Looks like another losing season, another losing sec record and yet again, embarrassed by our in- state rival UL for like the 40th time in a row


This is Kentucky football.

Just accept it like I do. If we win? Great? If not "meh" after 35 years of Mediocrity it
Is what it is

At least we have basketball. Where we actually succeed and aren't doormats for the sec



Ugh. So upset now


Looks like no bowl for us AGAIN this year

Unfortunately he's right. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

In that case, maybe our football fanbase literally is insane. I'm just shocked and at a loss for words about where this program is and where its headed.

It sucks. Yet another year With no bowl and an embarrassing loss to our in state rival ( again) (who is awful)


This IS Kentucky football. Get used to it folks

Maybe some 6-6 seasons here and there and a music city bowl (woooot!) but Blah.... That's about it


We just need to accept that. Kentucky is a basketball school and always will be. Anything Kentucky football does (that's positive) is just icing on th cake IMO

Hey now, even with a 5-7 record, we can take pride in "Going Bowling!!!" even if it only the Junior's Lumber Yard Bowl.

Mitch needs to be shown the door. He has done nothing. You can say " he hired coach cal", no he was forced to hire him. It was smart people associated with the bball program(alumni) that pointed him in the right direction. I think the same thing needs to be done for football

I say you are an attention seeking troll. Yeah, this season sucked like so many before it. However, if you are a true fan, you don't gloat over our misfortune. I love our basketball success but that is nothing compared to football success outside of a few basketball schools. Just like when you see somebody with a big mole on their face, the classy thing to do is just STFU about it. So, you can take your LOL and STFU.

In a row against UL. They own us in football. Totally embarrassing.

I'm not mad anymore. I used to get mad and upset. But I've accept ky football for what it is. A below average sec team. With historically horrid resuls

From now on I'm not gonna wear the blue tinted glasses for our football program. We are what we are and will forever be that way. Sorry that hurts your feelings but I'm just being honest

U.K. Is a basketball school. Point blank period and it seems as if our football program is either stagnant or regressing.


Sorry no bowl yet again. I know it burns you up on the inside , but just let it go like
I did. Much more peaceful

Not sure how this will be received, but the OP needs to root for another team. You never give up on your school. NEVER. The one thing I have always respected about UK were the football fans. It is really easy to root for them in basketball. In football, that is another level of commitment and dedication. I went to UL in the early '80s, we were the worst program in 1A. If anyone remembers, we were always in the Playboy "Bottom 10". Every year. You can't quit on your kids, and your school. No true "fan" does that, ever.

People say the OP is some quote "Ruptard" but I've never really seen or heard of him on either board. Plus, anyone who uses the word "Ruptard" is an equally retarded football only fan that knows nothing about the b-ball board or basketball in general and should only talk about football IMO.

They get mad because UK football is having yet ANOTHER disappointing season. Per usually for the last 35 years

I wore the blue tinted glasses before the season and was predicting 7-5

No more. Kentucky football will always be what it is. Below average, bottom feeder sec team.

And that's fine. I'll still cheer; but anyone thinking uk will be "successful " in football is fog to be quite sorry



Meanwhile UK basketball has 4 final fours in 5 years, a title, a runner up and are 7-1 against our in state rival. THAT is success

For some reason that upsets these folks :-/
