<font size="2">KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Signing day has passed, but the bullets are still flying between Tennessee and Florida.

Thursday morning at a recruiting celebration banquet, Tennessee head coach Lane Kiffin accused Florida's Urban Meyer of a recruiting violation in the recruitment of Pahokee, Fla. wide receiver Nu'Keese Richardson.

Kiffin's allegation: that Meyer repeatedly called Richardson while he was on his official visit to UT.

"I'm gonna turn Florida in right here in front of you," Kiffin told the crowd at the Knoxville Convention Center. "As Nu'Keese was in the meeting, his phone kept ringing. One of the coaches says, 'who's that?' And he said, Urban Meyer."

"I love the fact that Urban had to cheat and still didn't get him," Kiffin said.

Football coaches are not permitted to contact a prospect while he is on an official visit to another school's campus.

The Sports Overtime team called Florida's media relations office for a comment but has not yet received a response.</font>

That comment about Urban having to cheat but still not getting Richardson is pretty ruthless.

For as long as I can remember I have been under the impression that my hatred for UT was solely tied to my hatred for Fat Phil. However, I think I already hate Kiffin more and really hope he is a complete failure as a college football head coach.

how well those recruiting titles work out once the whistle blows and the ball is kicked.

Kiffin is playing king *******. Now, if he can back it up on the field good for him. However, if a team ever gets up on UT (say Florida or LSU in particular) dont look for their coaches to take the foot of the gas. I wouldnt be shocked for Miles or Meyer to call for a guard to pull or TE out route right over Kiffin's *** on the sidelines. Dare I suggest the clock stoppping out of bounds pass upside the head...ala Varsity Blues.

It is gonna get ugly. I expect a very lopsided score and a Tommy West vs. Jackie Sherrill type confrontation after the game between Kiffin and Meyer.

Kiffin's emotions was the first thing I thougt as well after watching that video. He just does not seem ready to be a head coach in the SEC and was getting his panties in a wad that Meyer was calling one of his recruits.

He will be getting his *** handed to him on a silver platter from Meyer and Saban next year . Welcome to the SEC school boy.</p>

I am going to thoroughly enjoy the beat down that the Gators on going to put on Kiffin this fall. Fulmer was Fulmer but this guy and some of his staff are quite a few levels down

Somebody woke up the big dawg and the big dawg don't play...
UF released the following statement from athletic director Jeremy Foley: "There was no rule violation and we have confirmed this with the Southeastern Conference. It is obvious that Coach Kiffin doesn't know that there is not a rule precluding phone contact with a prospect during an official visit on another campus during a contact period. His allegations are inappropriate, out of line and, most importantly, totally false. It is completely unfair to Urban Meyer, our coaching staff, our football program and our institution. The appropriate action at this time in my opinion is for Coach Kiffin to make a <span style="font-weight: bold;">public apology.</span>

I love how you Urban Meyer has not yet lost to UT. What a joke. If you can't beam 'em, whine about recruiting violations.
