Look for a TD from special teams

OSU has been horrendous on special teams. We have the best returners that we have had in a decade. It would not surprise me if Spielman or Pierson El grab a TD Saturday. If it happens at the right time it could be huge.

P.S. Why does OSU have such difficulty? Could it be that it's hard to get prima donnas to play on something they see as beneath them?

Doubtful. OSU stinks on special teams. We should be able to win that phase of the game.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think anyone has even returned a punt against OSU this year. Their rugby style doesn't allow for many return opportunities. I agree with the poster above, it's more like #21 for OSU houses one than one of our guys taking it back.

OSU fan here. Our kicking game is a definite weakness. Our kicker usually kicks it between the 5 and 10 yard line. With a Columbus campus of 55,000 students you would think we might want to hold tryouts to find someone who can get it into the end zone. Get someone off the soccer team. Our field goal kicker is also inconsistent. It hasn't cost us a game this year but it is a concern. We lost the Penn State game last year due to special teams.
