There is pressure from the NFL and FBI to come forward if Cecil wanted them to get him money. That's why Rogers decided to come forward on this. NFL is threatening to revoke licenses to represent players in NFL if they have to find out information on their own.

That's why Auburn can truthfully say that after examining their phone records etc. that they had no contact with Kenny Rogers. Kenny probably had no alum contacts to work at Auburn. </p>

you know damned well someone's phone (Rogers) was ringing several times a day. I would imagine one of these agents advised Newton's father as to what Cam's market value was, and that's how Cecil derived the 180-200k value. </p>
