if we don't make the big dance next year he should be gone. We have too many starters returning to not make it. The problem that we are going to have is with our bigs. Osby and company have to develop during the off season into contributors maybe even starters. That is all on Stans!! His recruiting has been average at best lately, so he has to develop what he has quickly because the SEC is loaded with young big guys. JV can't guard 2 guys at once in the post. Last night was very eye opening to anyone that watched, TN owned us in the paint in the second half. I think we lose 2 out of our last 3, just because we will get dominated in the paint. I don't know if we can play with Florida after these last 5 games, and I think OM will just out tough us and push us around in the Tad Pad.
Lastly, Stans is not coaching our guys to defend tough in your face man to man, and Ravern is a perfect example of someone that would not start for most teams because he doesn't play both ends of the court. We don't do the fundamentals in blocking out, and that should be the first thing that this line up should be doing regardless of what end the ball is on. There are several things that Stans & Co. need to work on during the offseason for us to be successful next year, and if he doesn't do it then he should move on to his next opportunity.
