Looked like we were sandbagging this game

I think Mullen made the determination that State could win against Kentucky without opening too much of the playbook. I noticed that we only ran a variation of a few plays today....Perkins off-tackle, Dak Prescott up the middle, some passes that weren't particularily spectacular. On defense, we played soft zone and tried to not let anything behind us.

I got a feeling that Mullen will have some more stuff for the Tennessee game (Russell faking to Perkins and keeping, Dak Prescott passing, man-to-man defense).

I enjoyed the "business like" way we won today's game.
Not a lot of emotion, just defeating a team with less talent.
