Adam Jones—May have been fine but PAC Man Jones was never worth the headache and embarrassment he brought. From the Pool Cue incident as a 1st-2nd year player to the Tommy Urbansky “make it rain” night at the “Scrip Club” he was an embarrassment and the punishment never was enough to make him get it. Chris Henry was one of the nicest guys I ever met. He was very humble but he was a follower and it hurt him. Dan Moses took hard coaching well and was part of the meanest OLone I ever saw at WVU. He was a nice guy off the field though. Ryan Stanchek——> see Dan Moses description and it’s the same. Great guy off the field but when he stepped across the white lines he was a mean guy who wanted to win and beat someone’s ***. Pat MacAfee—not the greatest kicker or punter at WVU ever. That would be Woodside and Surbrun respectively. Made some big kicks but missed some chip shots. Punted well. I will say he hit harder than any WVU punter or kicker ever. Jock Sander-underrated as a rb cause he had good hands as a wr and played with Devine who got more publicity. Robert Sands. WVU ripped a schollie from Jahlille Addae for Sands (FU WVU coaches at the time). My opinion here is not unbiased. I won’t comment. Joey Madsen—not Moses or Stanchek imho but solid. Will Clarke—long and good. Vodny Cajuste—best OL since Trickett left imo. Still remember the BS ejection vs Texas on a shove after a fg. I’m still shocked the refs allowed WVU to even win it twice. I figured WVU would have to win it 3-4 x in Austin that day. Big 12 screw job that still couldn’t beat WVU that day.
