Looking at the Predictions Thread, it appears that expectations are high

Am I the only one with that sinking feeling in my gut? Absolutely everything came together last weekend. The weather was as beautiful as an early September afternoon can be in Mississippi; the crowd was huge, not to mention the white-out; we beat the hell out of Memphis; Ole Miss lost to an FCS school. We are M-State. I know that I should be excited, but I can't help but think that the let down is coming. Anybody else get this feeling?

I am going to enjoy the hell out of this week. The past 10 seasons - we have had maybe 7 or 8 weekends where excitement was at a high level. So with that excitement, I am predicting a damn W.

it's a new day, a new season. Even if we lose, I think we will compete at a high level, and that sir is an improvement.

To be a good state fan you must be ready for anything.

Being a State fan, forces meeverydayto add to the list that I must tell to kiss my ***!

I don't feel that anymore. I feel we can compete with everyone we play this year, and when you can stay in games, you have a chance to win. All I want Thursday is to see our guys put themselves in position to win. If the do that, I will be happy.I haven't been this nervous about a game in a while. Last year Florida, Bama, and Ole Miss were kinda the same, but with what a win here could mean to the rest of our season, this game is really wearing on me. I'm ready for it to start because I feel good about what I think we will bring to the table.
