What rank should we expect to need to secure bottom deck seats? I'm currently around 6000, but I haven't done my donation for 2013 yet, and I expect to step up in 2014 to secure what I want.

Has there been any indication if prices will go up/down for next year? I wouldn't expect anything to go up drastically since the supply is increasing by 7k seats.

I doubt prices go down. The point of the restructuring is to basically put ourselves against one another with your BDC ranking being the leverage point.

Look for seat donation levels in the lower deck to rise 50-75/seat

I imagine tickets will stay in the ~$300 neighborhood.

Really hard to guess at this point. If we were to say that there are 30,000(just a guess) lower level seats, and ~ 25% of them will be taken up by students/staff, then that would leave about 22,500 for the general public. If you then estimate that each BC account that's ahead of you will buy 4-6 seats on average, then it seems like the math would say that you'd need to be around the Top 4500 or so. However, I don't have a clue as to how many of those you can take out due to people getting clubs/skyboxes or for the ones that buy nothing at all. At the same time, there may be more people that buy 10 seats with their account than I think. I know that I do

If Scott really wanted to make some money, he should offer a one time opportunity for low ranking BC members to fork over some serious cash and be guaranteed a spot in the lower level. Of course, if they're low ranking members, that probably indicates that they don't have much $$$ to spare so it may not make a bit of difference. It would still be a nice option, though

Each to his own but I've got 2 in the upper East (I've given to customers/friends in the past) and 2 in lower West side I normally use. I've sat in both and this year I'm going to change them to all upper level I think. I like the view from up top much better. My lower levels on West side are on row 10 and I can see the tight end or tackle on offense and the DE on defense and that's it when they snap the ball. When a sweep comes to my side you can't tell what happens on the sideline i.e. where he steps out, late hits, did receiver catch it or not, etc because of the team being in the way. From up top the view is totally different, you can see lineman splits, holes open up, receiver routes, stunts and blitzes, screen plays unfolding etc, its much different. I hope to get a lower row than I have now up top (currently 12th) and I'll be happy. There's never a wait for the rest rooms, the concession area is air conditioned and has chairs and tables, tv's for when you are down there and the price is only $175 per ticket (for now anyway) plus your Bulldog Club donation. The downside is the wind when its cold or the sun occasionally, the walk up the ramps or the wait at the elevator if you choose to do that but the rare occasion I've done that I never waited more than 10 or 15 minutes. Like I said, each to his own but a different perspective.

Yep, and that's what makes it so hard to estimate. I'm sure there are plenty of people like yourself that would qualify for more expensive seats, but they buy cheaper ones for one reason or another.

We sit in the middle of 5 and all we really want to do is move closer to the aisle. I'm tired of climbing over 30 people to go to the concessions.

I'm torn over this. I sit in the middle of an aisle too and hate having to crawl over people when I need to get out.
On the other hand, I'm not sure if I want to sit on the end of the aisle and have people constantly crawling over me.

Ticket office has always accommodated me when requesting seats 1 & 2 or whatever the far end #'s are on the end of my rows. Its much easier to slide your knees toward the aisle and let somebody through than to stand up or have to climb over everybody. Downside is people spilling on you when going up/down steps w/ drinks or idiots that stop to watch a play on steps while standing in your way

An added note is that we're adding elevators for next year. I think we're going from 5 elevators in the entire stadium to 14 with the completed renovation. I know a couple of them were active this year, but no idea how many of them are going to service the east side...

I was able to get my tickets changed to aisle seats last year, and while it is irritating to have to let people by throughout the game, I would rather let people by than climb over everybody. Just make sure you pick up your drink.......because letting folks by while you are trying to watch the game may suck, but it sucks a whole lot more when your $4 drink gets kicked over in the process.

I have upper west side chair backs on the 40 yd line and have had for years but the wife hates the climb up the ramps. The two new elevators have helped and more will be better still, but she wants on the lower level. I like the view from up top but i can live with the lower level as long as I am higher up and not looking at the back of the players heads. I plan on taking an afternoon off and going to Vegas and sitting down with someone in the ticket office to see what my options are. If I give this amount, where can I sit? If its not an improvement, I'll stay put and the wife will just have to deal with the walk or wait.

I went in early last Thrs to look at where else I may would want to move and made some mental notes. I remember seeing somewhere they were working on a "virtual seat viewer"
or something like that to where you could see it online but the option to go to ticket office was also mentioned for those close enough to drive to Starkville.

I just hope we know where our seats will be before we commit to our donations next year. I'm in CL, on about the 35 and like the seats. But I don't want to fork over $4K just to sit in CL, and and then be assigned seats inside the goal line. Before doing that, I'd move to the west side and save about $3,000. I think there are about 4,500 CL seats, and my ranking is about 1000 so it may be marginal, but I really want to know where I'm sitting before committing.

One thing that really does suck about the upper West side is that the Bulldog Club area is TOTALLY surrounded by visitor seating. So, you're either surrounded by rowdy Bama/Auburn/Ole Miss fans or by lots of people they gave free tickets to to fill the stadium. Gets crazy at times.

If we could get aramark to approve sportsnax in football games, this would be a moot point.

I don't disagree with you, but I doubt they tell everyone where they will be seated before they commit. They are going to make everyone think they need to give more to get the seat they want. It's Scott's job to maximize donations.

It is actually more like 1,800 to 2,000 seats in CL, so dont be suprised if you are left with endzone level seating options when it comes to your pick. Unless you have previously paid in to the extra facilities fund ($12,500 over 5 years) in order to add more CL seats. If you have then you will get to pick ahead of anyone ranked higher than you who did not make the facilities donation.
