Was there any doubt that Freezus would fix him and get him back on the road to righteousness?

Nothing but good can come from this

an average player while well above average off the field problems is definitely what you want on your team.

Its no secret the Nkemdiches own OM at this point. can't kick him off the team without him likely to drag everything down with him.

I'm happy our players aren't bigger than the team.

They have had ALOT of headaches out of that dude. Some made it to the media, some did not. He has leverage over them because of his brother, but that's finally wearing thin. To my knowledge, he's been pretty levelheaded since this Spring, but that could change quickly when you run in those circles.

Make no mistake, it's the price of doing business the way OM does business.

I'm glad he is back. Om can be really, really good when they are clicking but when it gets tough this year they will fold like a wal-mart shirt. Guys like this are the main reason why.

I genuinely hope he's able to stick around OM for a long time. It's the best thing for us.

I agree. I know we're not supposed to talk about things like us having players with good character and UM having a bunch of thugs. But the truth is, overall, our team does have better character and better leadership than theirs does. And I think that shows when the going gets tough.

nothing restores trust like not assaulting someone or something equally psychotic for the expanse of a month or two. thats how you know someone is really turning a corner.

If 2-time All-SEC in his first 2 years is average, what does that say about what your team consists of.

Last year he had 35 tackles (0 sacks) (0 ints) in 10 games.

Richie brown had 38 tackles (2 sacks) (1 int)

It really goes to show what name recognition will do. An all sec Lb that is 5'11" and 205 pounds? He wouldnt even start here. Im being dead serious. He is an ok college player but gets blown up because of his little brother, who while is a very good player, gets more recognition than he deserves because he was rated #1 out if Hs.

Denzel would be vying for wells spot. Wells is bigger and faster. Wells is actually the fastest LB in the league and the fastest player on MSUs squad.

The only google search I'll ever do on the guy tells me he was 11th on the team in tackling, played in 10 games...with only 6 starts. I know he was hurt...but he is average.

Denzel wasn't all anything last year. Maybe preseason but that's not all SEC.

I remember him being something like 3rd team his first year. Seemed deserving at the time as best I can recall.

When you vote in 6 LB's to the second team, it sort of takes away the prestige, right? State had one player on the list, TSUN had 5. TSUN finished below the team with one, what does that say about your team?

Although originally claimed by Ponce de Leon for the Spanish crown, today the area known as “Navarre” is considered a part of the United States.

How does one get to be ...

If 2-time All-SEC in his first 2 years is average, what does that say about what your team consists of

"All-SEC" while making 35 tackles (17 solo) which is 11th on the OM team?

Man, did he really 'excel' at the end of the year ...

vs. Troy (11/16/13): Made a tackle for loss in start ... vs. #8 Missouri (11/23/13): Had one tackle in start ... at Mississippi State (11/28/13): Posted three solo tackles with a TFL ... Music City Bowl vs. Georgia Tech (12/30/13): Made one solo tackle ...

Oooh! Oooh! I know! How about a merry band of Black Bear *** whippers that has had a recent much better stretch of football lately than other teams in this state?

And that was his RF season. However, I'm sure BigChew's gonna point out that Richie Brown had 3 more games under his belt though..durr durr.

And Nkemdiche had 82 tackles, 13 TFL, 4 FF, and 3 INT as a redshirt freshman. He was injured in the opener, missed 3 games, and struggled through the rest in 2013.

But please, continue to explain how he's "just average" and your LBs are Gods gifts to defending.

Don't hate me. I'm just stating what the Bear controlled media voted as 2013 AP All-SEC team.

http://collegefootball.ap.org/article/2013-associated-press-all-sec-football-team

But seriously, where is McKinney on that list???

The fact that Denzel Nkemdiche made that list but McKinney did not is just totally laughable- and you know that.

No, I don't think UM "controls the media"- I think the media can be lazy morons who value name recognition over actual on the field production.

Just proves that the media doesn't know **** about football, that's all. Not that that's any news to me.

Too bad he's a hotheaded moron though who has lost his awesome athletic prowess somewhere through the years. Something tells me Brown has a much cooler head on his shoulders.
