He'd be crazy to pick fb over wrestling

Are you talking about GW. Man that would be crazy. Kid has a chance to be a 4 time state champion and be the 3rd ever to maybe go undefeated in high school.

Nothing says you can't play 2 sports at once. Yes it could have schedule conflicts but its doable if the school and coaches are on board.

Andrews had a kid swim and play basketball last winter. Not a bench warmer either. And lots of people do track with another spring sport. Football involves a bigger time commitment though

No two sports would be any tougher to play at the same time than football and wrestling. Considering the wear and tear on the body, diet, time conflicts, and conditioning. Not impossible I guess..but improbable and hard to be at your best in either. Most kids have a hard time getting out of the bed on Saturday after a Friday football game..much less going and wrestling a tournament.

Football and wrestling overlap already but not the whole season.

Pamlico has a 2 time heavyweight State Champion that didn’t wrestle until the football playoffs were done. Training and diet for each sport was in direct conflict with each other so he didn’t even attempt it.

I'm with UNC 91 on this. It's a real thing but it is completely blown out of proportion. I am a vendor and have been in these crazy dang Grocery stores with these crazy dang people everyday all day 11 and 12 hour days without a mask until it was mandated by the state and my employer to wear them. Never have gotten sick. Took the immunity test and it revealed that I havent even came in contact with the stuff. This is all politically and financially motivated. I have medical professionals in my family that will tell you this is all about the money. They are blaming everything on Covid. 20% thunder? More like 50-60% is over reported. I believe really old and medically compromised people are at risk but if that's the case, stay home. We as Americans should be able to decide in a free country whether we want to stay home, wear a mask etc or not. Look, it took a blink of an eye for our regular freedoms to be taken away. No rebuttal either. If we dont as Americans unite against our media and government, then life as we know it will be over. I know it sounds extreme but allow yourself to think independently without the influences around you and look at what is going on. Try to look broader than this focus that the media has got you on. This is not a right or left thing. This is a human thing.

Struck I cant live my life like I always have. I have to wear a mask I dont want or need to wear. I cant go and do etc like I always have. That is my everyday freedoms I have lost. I had to do live stream church services for many many weeks that was unnecessary etc. Many things in life have changed and it took so little effort to do that. What keeps them from taking more and more away in the future. OPEN YOU EYES

The church thing was knocked down, granted no one ever told you that you couldn't worship. ABC stores were left open to keep alcoholics from going into withdrawls and taking up hospital beds.

With that said, if Walmart and Lowes closed, how do people get groceries? A water heater if theirs bust? Medications? Baby formula?

The church vs stores thing is the most ridiculous arguement around this. Plus when you go to a store you aren't around the same group of people for an hour and a half!

The "church thing" was struck down by a federal judge or the Democrat governor would have thumbed his nose at the constitution of the United States. The only reason we haven't lost some of our freedoms and rights yet...is because a few politicians and judges still have the backbone and character to respect our constitution and blood bought freedoms.

The Bible says to not forsake the assembling of yourselves together. No the church building isnt the church but the people are and we need to be together. No you are not at a store with folks 1.5 hours but you are with several hundred different folks for .5 hour shopping which is more dangerous than the 25-125 most churches in this country have. More people, more disease.

We still do the live stream services and since I'm part of the praise team at my church I was there every service anyway but all people should have been allowed to be there. If they felt they couldnt go which some of our folks still feel that way, that's fine but those of us who want to go should be able to

"Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment."

Wear your dang mask and slow the spread so we can have sports again.

There are people in other countries who have to have underground churches to worship etc. Do you think they shouldnt do that? They have to do that in direct conflict with the laws of their countries

Anyway back to the subject....I sure hope they get to play ball with playoffs and all etc. I dont mind whether its played now or in the spring personally but the sooner we just go back to life as normal the better. We have to get past this and the only way is to just do it. With Virginia cancelled I can see the bordering schools like Reidsville may pick up some kids from there. Thoughts?
