Sorry I have no idea how to properly link tweets from my phone but it looks like Wideouts is ruffling some feathers in Columbus.

This is from our boy Wideouts

It's a shame how some guys are just natural haters .. It's so unattractive #didyouplayfootballthough? #dontanswerthat #kidswillsayanything

Some people think secret admirers are creepy .. I like them #SavageProfessionalism #GorillaMinded #itsdifferentnow #⭕️➕#GBR

I follow, but I don't follow. First, these posts aren't a direct reply to one another, so unless someone is "in the know" they wouldn't put them together. Is there something more public that links these guys? Are we both in on the same player?

Claims of negative recruiting. That's what started the beef. Shots were first fired by OSU.

Pretty epic Twitter rant by a coach who is getting it handed to him by Coach Dub on the recruiting trail. My guess is that he received bad news on the recruiting front from another receiver target that he was up against NU on. Just speculation, but after seeing Tyjon Lindsay's tweet and then this meltdown, it could be good news for us.

As a follower of Coach Williams, this one seems pretty pointed towards his tweets. Granted I don't follow other WR coaches, but a lot of drillwork comes out of Coach's Twitter.

I think I'm too dumb to understand Twitter. Maybe I'm missing something; Zach Smith's feed appears to be 50% bitching about coaches who makes sales pitches and the other 50% blatant sales pitches to his recruits.

It's must be an Ohio mindset. When things are not handed to them, someone is for damn sure gonna hear about it.

I think our guys will be wired up for the OSU game. Nothing better than Coaches not backing down and maybe starting to pick fights to get back the attitude. I hated it when Solich took over and would say how going to ISU was always a tough game when he should have taken the Oz route and said we expect to play well and we expect to win.

Attitude works from the top down.

Nah.... i doubt he'll regret them. You have to beat the best to be the best and we'd have to play them eventually.

Take your swing. If you miss, take another one. You'll get there eventually. It's not like it's a stretch to say that we're a work in progress and fighting to be better -- that's half your sales pitch is to help bring us back to that level.

I love Coach Williams, but he will probably regret these tweets on November 5.

I doubt it, he has passion, he has fire, and he has drive to always be moving towards getting better. Victory or loss, I think he uses everything as a teaching tool.

Dub doesn't seem like a guy that has too many regrets. tOSU will more than likely beat us, but then again, they should anyway. If coach is getting under Ohio state's skin, that's on them. Besides, didn't the other guy start all this?

Coach Smith probably had his drills and methods critiqued by The Doctor.

OSU lost at home to MSU last year, and MSU was missing Cook, they also nearly lost to NIU and played in some close games as well. They are not the unbeatable team that some think they are. Now I am not sure we will beat them, but they are a very beatable football team. Some people think because they won the National Title two years ago that Urban is the best coach out there. You have to remember that if it had not been for the newly implemented playoff they would not have even been in the game and some argued they did not even deserve to be in the top 4 with there home loss to an average VT team.

All of that plus...they lost a ton of NFL talent...a ton. It's not a given that replacing that talent is easy, regardless of past recruiting classes.

He's not even talking trash. He's mostly just saying he does his thing and it's worked well for lots of cats in the NFL. The shots were fired from tOSU.

Zach Smith seems like a douche, but I'm not seeing where he fired shots at Coach Williams specifically. Anybody know what "cchs" stands for?

I love it !
Screw Ohio state and everyone else.
Nebraska has to worry about Nebraska
Not back down when other schools get their panties in a bunch
This will translate to the players
Toughness gotta love it
