the constitution guarantees that won’t happen.
The constitution also guarantees that citizens have the right to basic freedoms and due process. 1st and 5th respectively. US citizens are being pulled and detained illegally because they are of Mexican or Indian or Native American descent. And before you say it isn’t happening, again, I know a first hand account that it is. You can see why a lot of people are insanely pissed off that the military is being involved.

So I’ll ask again, would you riot if they took guns away? And are you shooting back at our own military with them? I don’t own guns but I would probably riot with you.

The military is only guarding federal assets. They are not policing

You should be insanely mad at democrats for abdicating their duties and leaving the border wide open. You should be insanely mad at democrats for not enforcing the law and requiring the national guard and military to be called in.

Democrats aren’t doing their job. We voted on this and the voters spoke loud and clear.

You won’t find me rioting.

War is different.

Please don’t compare LA or taking guns away as war. There’s a lot of civilized countries that have very strict gun laws. Problem with us is we have a crap ton more hoodlums bc we have enabled it.

You are so emotional.

No one threatened peaceful protests.

Bricks of Peace.
Firecrackers of Peace.
Blazing Cars of Peace.
Looted stores of peace.
Peaceful.

You’re a dumbass.
The president just said that yesterday.

“And if there's any protester that wants to come out, they will be met with very big force,”

Facts seem to bother you immensely.

Nah, coming from a very red state with a lot of illegals, Texas, illegals are the backbone of our economy and keeping prices down. Being able to pay someone $.50 on the $1 is a huge benefit to society as a whole. The thugs or dregs on
society <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< the ones who are just here working hard, cheaply.

Like, I think this is mostly nationwide now, when we needed yard or housework done, we'd just head down to Home Depot in the morning. Pay each like $30/hr cash. Any contractor is going to charge you $80+. The job is also done significantly better than American based ones, in my personal experience.

Restaurants nationwide are struggling to find front of house people (waiters, waitresses, bartenders); they don't have any trouble finding someone to was dishes.

I could give you a dozen more examples on how the good outweighs the bad. Like you're basically dooming America in the worldwide economy by still thinking this country can compete with only American citizens, however that's JMO and you can certainly agree.

Even in my industry, consulting engineer (designing new or renovating old buildings), like half the work is being shipped to India, Singapore, or Poland and I don't even work at one of the top 10 largest. I think we are somewhere in the top 100 though. I worked for a top 5 in Jacobs and for the largest North American office except maybe corporate. We had some 600 when I left. India and Poland 2k each and growing when I left. Why would a company of 90k worldwide pay me $50/hr when a person with equal qualifications and education will do it for $10/hr? You do need at least 1 American engineer to stamp projects still, but it's gone from 20 people in an American office to 3 managing 17 from elsewhere.

Like a lot of the far right people are stuck in 1950 thinking America can do it all on its own and is a super power in the global economy. We're still up there, but moves like this will cause us to fall behind. We need other countries of the world to stay competitive. I don't think the far right realizes how ******* stupid the tariff thing is. We need raw materials and certain finished goods from other places.

Also, if you think the military isn't escalating anything, I don't know what to tell you. My cousin lives in LA in the film industry (journalist documentary type stuff) and he has journalist friends trying to report on what's happening saying they are getting shot in the face with tear gas and rubber bullets for trying to report on things at otherwise peaceful protests. I'll take first hand accounts from someone who has no reason to lie to me over what's being spread on social media.

Agree on some but disagree on thinking troops are the problem

Criminal behavior and violence are the problem

Lock up the rioters for a few years and rioting will go out of style

So you want illegals here so you can under cut the price of American labor. At least you come right out and say it.

And I’m sure your cousin in LA is a good judge of what’s going on. One persons view vs the videos from thousands of people. 🤡

I see you take the propaganda full throated. Good luck!

Nah, that's just it. They are taking jobs that people don't want.

He's also from a red state and repub. He's got no reason to lie.

Also, propaganda is literally what is being put on the internet. That's literally the definition with something like this. I'll take a trusted source with no bias over the guy retweeting something from some burner account that's probably being driven by AI.

Anyone that thinks law enforcement is the problem can get fvcked.

We voted on this. California is a part of the Union and they have to abide by the laws just like anyone else. No one is above the law was the mantra from the left just a short time ago.

No one is above the law, except illegals apparently.

Jobs Americans don’t want at that price.

You are undercutting the price of American labor. You are the problem.

So what was storming the capital assaulting congressional law enforcement? And that wasn't even for a cause other the fact Repubs weren't in charge.

Basically just asking would you riot if the government took your guns away.
This is not even REMOTELY the same thing and you know it. This is like comparing apples and spaceships.

Guns are protected under the 2nd Amendment.

Now show us the amendment that says we will provide benefits/housing/cell phones/health care to ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS.

Also, if your theoretical happened, the people who support the 2nd amendment wouldn't be looting stores and stealing from fellow Americans.

Where I live I hear the same claims that illegals doing cheap labor save us money

My problem is my cameras show Latinos who are known illegals and those caught stealing my property are illegals

So the amount of destruction and stealing by the illegals is far too expensive to my tastes

Maybe we can move them to your neighborhood to vandalize and steal from you

You are OK WITH THAT OF COURSE

They shot a woman with a rubber bullet last night because she was trying to walk to her apartment. Alone and with zero weapons. Or the Australian reporter.

I'm fairly certain DUE process applies to American citizens, and not people who's first act was to violate our laws and come here ILLEGALLY, but you do you.

Those people are not supposed to be here in the first place. If you have any doubts, how about you walk across the border to Mexican and demand that they give you DUE process for your right to live there. You folks are such a joke, and a BAD joke at that.

LAPD are the ones who shot those people. I think the guy who got shot in the head was hanging around with brick throwers or similar. I think he was shot from a ways a way (100yds-ish? ) . Could hve been mistaken ID . Pure conjecture. Also just because some rando has a microphone doesn't mean much anymore everyone is a journalist and it's easy to hold a mic at one moment and throw a brick the next. The australian reporter was clearly a reporter and there was no mistaking it. But we don't know how many times she and everone was told to clear out or back up before she got clipped. At least it was low in the leg like it should be. It looks bad, though.
