After hearing this guy's rant I have to wonder if he's one of our regular posters.

They're about 3-4 years away from dropping down to FCS in football. Indy at FBS level is not an option for any non service academy not named Notre Dame long term.
Schedules are what they are, cant use the excuse that we play in the BIg 10 and they dont. We weren’t complaining when we were going to bowls out of the BiG East conference. Coaches get paid to win doesn’t matter what conference they play in
It’s not an excuse to say the strength of schedule a B1G East team plays is not same as an independent (not named ND) or an AAC one.
And the Big East at the time was considered part of the BCS.
It’s not an apples to apples comparison.
That being said, I have no idea how we would have done with the 2022 UCan’t sked.

Additionally, Rutgers is receiving and spending tens of millions more per year than UConn.
For people talking about how we would do with their schedule or them with ours - swap the AD budgets as well for a couple years.
Otherwise, as you said, it's not apples to apples comparison.
