Don't veer off topic (that you brought up). You're saying if we had more money we would be winning more. That's a total fail comment and you can't defend it..
Oh I said a lot more than that… Money, attendance, wins and losses…all of the important metrics for a major sport are in the toilet. Your management led us there. All Payne has done is continue it…

Money comes from attendance. Attendance is directly attributed to
wins and losses, wins and losses (in our case) are attributed to poor coaching not how much money we have..

We haven’t won an NCAA tournament game in six years. Who’s responsible for that?

We also averaged 18,000 fans in an old arena under a washed up coach twenty years ago. Couldn’t beat CUSA teams. We’d kill for 18K fans for ONE game now.

Oh I know… It’s Kenny Payne’s fault. 😂😂😂😂😂

But by your logic if we had more money we would be winning games and the stands would be full... You said that yourself.

At this point you're just wanting someone to bicker with and it's not going to be me anymore in this thread.

If money isn’t an indicator of anything, why have a budget or highly paid people in finance? Why have marketing guys who try to increase revenue over and above people simply knocking on your door to advertise or buy tickets?

Because you don’t understand the money connection or refuse to acknowledge it means nothing. The best explanation is you don’t wanna blame the right people. You wanna blame global warming on Kenny Payne.

This dumpster fire’s not extinguishing when you someday get your wish. The men’s basketball program is a shadow of what it once was because that’s the way it’s now managed.

There are a lot of people to blame for the current situation. It is funny some refuse to blame any of this on the administration and coaching where it all started. Bottom line having strippers and being caught in a FBI sting started this mess. None of it was handled properly by anyone. It does no good to keep blaming people at this point.

It is a win or you are out situation. He isn’t winning. He may turn it around if he does great if not the administration will move on. Then it is 100 percent in Heird to make a great hire. I think it is fair to have major questions on his ability to hire the right guy. Payne has proven to be a disaster fair or not that is on Heird. It is time to get things back in alignment with basketball.

That’s a fair take. Ultimately everything is the administration’s responsibility. “Kenny Payne” is a gross oversimplification.

This administration took over in late 2017. They’re now in their 7th year…

I agree with a lot of what you said here. In my mind, you don't get to be as bad as we are without a ton of mistakes along the way. I believe everyone who has been involved since it all started deserves some of the blame. And no one deserves all of it. It was a group failure from Pitino/Tom to Tyra/Neeli/Mack all the way to Josh/Kenny, in my opinion.

What we're doing right now isn't working so something will have to change. I'm glad I don't have to make the big decisions.

When you want to analyze pre/post adidas, we also have good reference points in Kansas, Arizona, etc. No one has come close to the depths that we have sunk to…

The Adidas issue is interesting with basketball because they basically have failed/refused to help Louisville land kids. Then the one time they do help it burned us with a shady parent at a time we couldn’t afford a mistake. That has been the case ever since we signed the deal. Pitino even complained about it.

It make zero sense Pitino had as much trouble as he did landing elite kids. Self and Miller had zero trouble landing kids. To me Louisville for whatever reason isn’t a place elite kids are pushed. Someone explain that to me.

I said from the start it would take Payne 3 or 4 years to revive the cards of old.
