Let the truth set you free. Repubs have voted for a continuing CR multiple times only to.have the dems kill it.
I was talking about state sponsored propaganda that has infiltrated every part of our society. Political parties can have differences but that doesn't mean the majority party should plant their anti-left doctrine throughout every medium. My cousin was just trying to do research for her class and was bombarded with anti-Dem propaganda everywhere she looked. Your party is immoral.

payday is today. They better hurry up.

I do have questions about the authority of moving money from one appropriated account to another.

Now a good look for anyone suing to stop military from getting paid. When solution to eliminating the issue is so easy.

Have you seen anything from Democrats threatening that, or just a tweet from someone named "Bad Hombre" claiming they have?

no I haven't, and as I posted I don't think it would be a good look for anybody to sue over military pay.

I do have questions about the authority to move money designated for one account to another. And, in my day, funds were specifically appropriated for military pay and moving money from one account into military pay would require a "reprogramming" action which required congressional approval. I don't know if it's still the same, and I don't know what effect a government shutdown has on presidential authority

In reality I don't think authority to do something really has a major effect on Trump. He's seems like an "easier to obtain forgiveness than approval" type manager.

You mean someone posting anonymously on the internet should not be accepted as being 100% accurate?

For your last statement, I see that being true way too often.

it has always fascinated me that someone posts something on the internet - some unknown person - and people who read it and agree with the basis of the post all of a sudden repost as fact. When it might be something totally made up.

Just goes to show that as humans we tend to believe that which we believ ourselves.

Great sociology study in there..can't imagine it hasn't already been done.
Aren't you glad you and I have divorced ourselves from this trap? :)

"The law prohibits engaging in political activity while on duty, using government resources for political purposes, or using one's official authority to influence the outcome of an election"
What about it though? You saying Trump is doing this?

100%.

Have you seen the video they wanted to play at airports?

Have you seen what's on every page of the whitehouse.gov site?

It's his White House and he owns it. Also, remember him saying when there is a shut down it's the presidents fault? How quickly you seem to forget.

Right, but a lot of people need to, and they shouldn't be used for overt political purposes.
yea, shouldn't be, but every member of Congress, every government department, the DNC, RNC and both Senate and House congressional and Senate committees are just propaganda machines. Has been that way for years.

And you know what, they are all correct in what they show on their sites. They just pick the issues and spin the facts to support their positions. I haven't visited any of these websites, but if they're posting about the shutdown, bet both of them blame the other and speak to the correctness of their positions.

And there is is. "Both sides". So we won't say that it's wrong or illegal.

I like you and appreciate the civility, but you seem completely unwilling or unable to call anything wrong from the right.

maybe I'm missing something, why would anybody need to visit the white House website? That's a serious question. Like I said maybe I'm missing something I should be aware of.

There are links to lots of departments and services. I've never used it, but I'm sure many have. It's like the State of SC site, I never used it, until I needed to get my smart id and didn't want to mess it up, so I went to the DMV site.

It really is ok to just say something is wrong. This is not really a both sides issue. We aren't talking about press conferences or party websites that of course are partisan. Or statements. etc etc etc

A congressman's personal website is different from an official government website that is intended to be for all people, not just their party.

No its just a dirty dem making decisions at the ATL airport.
Hey big guy- do a simple google, do a TINY bit of research, and you'll realize the Trump administration has violated the Hatch Act REPEATEDLY, especially since the MAGA-led government shutdown. Would you like a list of all the instances?
