A cold and snowy night at West Point. Teel had a thumb injury, had trouble gripping the ball and threw a couple of interceptions. Enter Jabu.

That was some miserable weather. Snow, sleet, freezing rain. It was bearable in the first half in the end zone with a lot of bodies together. As RU pulled further ahead in the second half, the crowd thinned out and the temp became unbearable. Had to leave with two minutes to go, which is unusual. Went back to West Point this past season and it was absolutely pouring rain. Not a good track record for me. The other time there was sunny and warm, but a close loss to Army in ‘86.

worst. away. game. EVER. Even with the win, worst ever.

soaked to the bone because no one expected snow and sleet. Couldn't get warm for what felt like days.

and let's not forget that was the game that the TD Club bus got lost heading up there and didn't show up until halftime.

Michie Stadium stairs and aisles were painted with a hard, highly glossed paint.
People were slipping and flopping down like fish on a boat with emptied nets.

It was before halftime but was still an adventure.

I knew it was going be an issue and an interesting ride once the time of departure was mentioned and the actual route they decided to use on the way up.

The stories as Han Solo says are all true.
