It's refreshing for PM to cry about his own players after a game instead of how mean John Cohen is.

Am I the only one that thinks this isn't that bad? Are people that sensitive? If Mullen said Dak missed a couple passes, would we be up in arms?

It looked to me like the quote directly attributed the loss to the player. I don't recall for example Dan Mullen saying "Dak missing that pass on the two point conversion cost us the game"... in the loss to LSU. Maybe he did though.

We would be if he blamed a loss on one missed pass by dak when the defense gave up 42 and we lost 42-35. That's the comparison.

My thoughts as well. PM is kind of a bitcher, but I don't have much issue with that.

No, but you should be. It's the same level of ignorance that says that Dak almost threw an interception. It's low hanging fruit to blame the 1B for an error that was the first baserunner of the inning instead of how the lineup couldn't produce with runners in scoring position in the 8th and 9th innings.

PM throwing players under the bus is nothing new. He does it after every loss. I work with the father of a former MLB player from LSU. He hates the guy and said a few years ago a high school coach from Lake Charles (and some other schools) banned him from recruiting their kids.

Gonna see some actual tears from him today.

Still trying to figure out .gif from watchESPN replay. His tantrum on the Mangum assist has got to be immortalized in such a manner. I missed the chance when we put them out of the sec tourney in 2012 and Butch's pitching moves/delays when they started to get hot literally had him in tears and I've never forgotten it. Can't miss this one too

Imagine deichmann walking into the clubhouse today. That should be icey. I'm betting PM calls him into his office first thing to talk it out.

I just looked at it as Mineiri explaining how close the game actually was.
