I have only gone to OM for SEC away games, but I have heard horror stories about going to LSU football games when done wrong. I'm planning to go this year to LSU, so....how do i buy online ticketsand know which sections are considered "visitor" sections? Where is the best place to find good tickets? (which web site works best?) MSU Athletics is "sold out"

....but I would look for MSU tickets in the lower rows of 401 and 402 (and maybe 403 and 404, but I'm not as sure about those), as well as the upper rows of 642 and 643 (as well as the very high up rows of 630-641).

This is based on this map from LSU's website.

Unless you can find an MSU fan to buy his tickets from, you'll be in an LSU section. The only time I went down there, I didn't have any problems. Of course, I was sitting in the MSU section. I really think as long as you're not an ******* you'll probablybe fine in anybody's stadium no matter where you sit.

if you can't laugh stuff off, you probably shouldn't go. I sat with LSU people each time both at the pre-game tailgate and at the game and had a great time. But, you will have to listen to a bunch of stuff. Given the comparitive competiveness of our two programs, I think my standard response was "Do you make fun of retards, too?" That usually got a laugh and set everybody at ease. But, if you have thin skin, don't go.

Not sure if they throw human waste or not, but they definately will throw cups filled with whatever(beer, whiskey, tobacco spit,...). Unless you get into the MSU section, you subject to these.

that LSU was playing Auburn, and the Auburn band had just bought all of these brand new white uniforms, and some LSU fan(s) had brought in a bathtub full of red wine (emphasis on "I have no idea if this is true or not") and dumped it on their band from the upper deck.

I don't believe that story 100%, but the fact that we're talking LSU here makes it 30% likely to be true as opposed to the standard 1%.

sideline seats. I guess LSU figured they'd rather give them the first 5 rows then give them higher seats on the 5-yard line.

....but I did sit in Row 1 at Tennessee one time, and lowest row seats suck. You can't see anything.
