Mett made some very poor decisions. Beckham wasn't going up and making plays all over the place either. That play where he hurt his back in the 4th, he makes that play in Starkville three weeks ago. They slept walked through the first half, and it bit them.

Having said that, it shines a light on how poor our game plan/execution was against them. OM didn't leave their corners one on one, they helped them underneath/over the top with LB and S. Why we didn't do that, I have no idea. Maybe we did, and our safeties weren't there. Those head scratching game planning decisions have to stop from this staff.

I said this at the game... But the difference was that their safeties provided the help to break up passes and ours did not. Our gameplan was fine. Our safety wasn't fast enough. Which is why you won't here me complain of Cox gets moved there.

It also hurt in that Landry and Beckham could've had 5 of the top 10 plays that week with some of the catches they made. I left our game very impressed with those two. They didn't drop anything.

I have a hard time believe our Safeties didn't get in position to help on those formations with only 2 WRs. Our gameplan switched at half, and we went from making LSU's WR make plays to giving them 15 yard curl routes with a CB and S sitting on top of them with their thumb up their ***.
