I understand. It just never ceases to amaze me that some kids would rather sit on pine in an "elite" program than make a name for themselves at a "second tier" school.
I'm in the same boat, I haven't seen the kid play. I've just been passed along information from people who have seen him play. Obviously if he has any of the genes his brother has, and I'm sure a tip or two from Phillip won't hurt his game, he's going to be a decent QB. Everything I've read about Rivers is that he's better at this age than his brother was... bigger, stronger, faster.. all the way around. But that is just what I've read... I haven't seen the guy in person. He looks like he could use a burger or two and a little time in the gym, but I'd love to see him in Maroon and White.
