When will the bowls realize that an overachieving team with a smaller fan base that finishes strong sells more tickets than a big name team that would rather be somewhere else? For example, Vandy has sold more tickets to the B-Ham bowl than UGA has sold to the Gator.
I'm sure there's more to it though (ie, TV ratings).
And he said they were giving free ones to the students. Most of the coonasses he talked to don't care for Tampa, wanted to go to Orlando.

Yeah, and you gotta think LSU is:
1) Disappointed to be in the Outback Bowl anyway.
2) Going to be playing without Mettenberger.
I'm not sure how excited I would be about driving to Tampa if we were looking at playing a game without Dak. No knock on Damian.
