If the rivalry is only imagined on the Ole Miss side, then why do the Bayou Bungholes persist in showing a 50 year old film clip on their jumbotron every year? Their obsession with a half century old play is almost as bad as the legion of doofi who travel I-20 for the purpose of fellating a corpse with a houndstooth hat. In short, stupid article.

MSUX?..... Oh man, I get it!....ROFLMFAOLOLZZZ!abvigor said:"You see I'm not one who analyze wins and losses and woulda shoulda coulda - If Ole Miss is down when they play us and we win, who gives a **** we kicked their ***."
So then the argument that Ole Miss whipped ya'lls *** regardless of whether the players quit or not is NO EXCUSS. Ole Miss just whipped ya'lls lazy *** up and down the field and came away knowing MSUX was a sucky team that should have never played a down of football in the year 2008 anyway.

Look, I actually like MSU........but it just peeves me the way state fans think....making up excuses that the players didn't care or that they just gave up. Football players don't just give up. They may feel defeated that the team is not playing as well as it should, but each individual player did not just give up.
If ya'll kill us 50 to 0, then so be it. That is why they play the game.
http://www.lsu.edu/pa/mediacenter/nr/20060901_divstat.htmIt's fine for people to be idiots, and at Ole Miss, it appears idiocy is being celebrated with this cheer. But seriously, the Rebels and their fans need to keep this junk at home and away from college football.
I guess we as college football fans and citizens of the South shouldn't expect any better from Ole Miss.
The notion that most LSU fans or players recognize the Rebels as a rival is false as well.
Ole Miss' three national championships in football are purely fiction. That's "fantasy" for you Ole Miss alums. The NCAA doesn't recognize any of these fabricated achievements. None of Ole Miss' 1959, 1960 or 1962 squads were recognized as the best in the nation by the Associated Press or any of the other institutions the NCAA recognizes.
And that is supposed to HELP your point?olemissbydamn said:Ole Miss' three national championships in football are purely fiction. That's "fantasy" for you Ole Miss alums.
