Seems to me he was less accurate early in the game but got better later. But then there was that pass into triple coverage late in the game...........................

Yes we are 6-3 .
You may be right that no one on the roster is better . You may be wrong.

We win this game with good quarterback play.
You may be right, you may be wrong? What kind of horseshit is that? LOL That's why we have coaches....who do this for a living.....who need to win to keep getting that big, stupid paycheck.

I'm sure each guy has his own strengths, but this constant replaying of the idea that there's some magical answer on the bench is absolute lunacy.

Whichever QB on the roster gives us the best shot to win the Pinstripe Bowl, that is the QB that should play, period.

You work with what you have, not what you wish you had. If he's the best you have you work around his weaknesses. He seems competent except for terrible accuracy outside and long. Oddly, he's much better in the middle of the field but that's a scarier place to be and our coach is risk-averse.

Gavin gives the running game a huge boost. He helps us move the ball. Could be throw better - sure 100%. On this team he gives us best chance to win.

We are 6-3. On to win more games. No one else on roster is as good. Full stop.

He didn’t lose us the game.
Yes he's probably the best option on the roster. But we definitely need better to take the next step. You said "He didn't lose us the game." Well he didn't win us the game. And if we want to win in the Big Ten, not even against the #1 team, but win consistently in the B1G, the QB has to do more than not lose us the game. So I'm not sure what lunacy you are referring to. The RU rebuild is on schedule. And we need more from the QB position to take the next step. Maybe that will be GW taking the next step. I'm rooting for him.

I said it in the game thread but the only passes I saw him hit with any confidence were in the middle of the field where he had to zing it in there. Anything to the outside and long where he tried to lob it over the defender just didn't work. I don't know why the coaches kept trying to force those plays. Especially around the end zone.
