They did bring in a good portal class too. And Beard, for all his personal flaws, is a very good coach. I will honestly be a little surprised if both State and OM aren’t dancing next year.

respect for Beard is what that is, he’s got a track record of building programs and winning. He is a good coach. Basketball is a really easy, quick rebuild with portal if you have someone who knows what they are doing.

I don’t know, basketball portal is a quick fix and there are tons of available players from smaller schools who can play. Jans can add some outside shooting, 2-3 key pieces and could have a very solid team.
