That they'd go 40 yards in two plays and kick a field goal? Did he really think that? They still had a chance before, not now.

The kid has done absolutely nothing since coming in for McCoy. Not his fault, just a terrible situation for him to come into so suddenly. So why in the hell did Mack think he was all of a sudden going to sling it down the field in 20 seconds to get them in FG range? Nuts. They had it right on first down - run off tackle and get the hell in the locker room.

and mainly because of one big injury. Bama would prob have won anyway but there was no chance for TX when Colt went out. Not defending Brown but who would think a shuttle pass would be intercepted. Having said that, I would have ran out the half.
