I dont' think he has but I don't follow as closely as I used to. He basically has lost USP and OB once in the playoffs. I remember them being more talented.
Its pretty clear you would like to see Hall gone. He is dominating everyone but USP and OB in a school district that has been raided TWICE in the last 10 years.
Hall took MC from being a Brandon/Clinton to being an upper echelon 6A team. They were the definition of mediocre before he got there.
Just curious why all the hate. Some unrealistic expectations.
Actually, I'm a fan of the coach and have not once advocated him leaving. I also invest financially in the the program.I'm just posting some comments heard in backchannels among boosters and parents, many of whom will not speak openly or directly with the coach for fear of impacting their child's opportunities, not by Coach, but by some of his staff.
I think Coach is not limited by talent, there is tons of it at MC, especially in the incoming Jr class. I don't think it was Coach who caused the stud LB to leave, it was from staff. Coach is limited on what he can do with staff because it's the HS system and they are also teachers. Last season he had a very talented DC who had the full support of the players on D. But hard to hold onto the good ones as they move upward. The not so good ones tend to not move up and you have to work with what you've got.
As for the expectations, not unrealistic. With the talent pool and financial resources pumped into the MC,not hard to do as well as has been done since his arrival.
The parents I've overheard are lookingfor player development in character and skill for opportunities at the next level.A new stadium entrance and jumbo tron won't make a kid run a more crisp route, a QB thread a needle with a pass, or a RB run behind his pads. It will make them feel better about where they play.
I don't have a player on the teamyet. Not for another2 years, so this is not from a disgruntled parent. Just hearing comments from parents and supporters who were here through Justiceto present.
Really interested in others' thoughts.
