I know you won't care because you get off on watching American citizens being brutalized by ICE but this was a widely reported story at the time and this girl was autistic and suffered a traumatic brain injury in 2024 and was on her way to her 39th medical appointment since the accident. She was in no way trying to obstruct ICE, she just got caught up in the traffic. A masked agent smashed her passenger-side window while others cut her seatbelt and dragged her out through the driver's side door; agents then carried her by her arms and legs toward an ICE vehicle.
She was then taken to a detention center where she suffered a medical emergency, was denied care, blacked out, and ended up hospitalized. She was eventually released without charge.

My brother in law would struggle in that situation. He can pass the drivers test but we do not let him drive. However, he has been in many non driving situations where he gets easily flustered and does not know how to respond. We have taught him to say "I'm autistic can you please help me". We also have a card in his wallet he can give to someone and we have also introduced him to the local PD so that if he does have run ins they know what is going on.
