I could never figure out why pharma would advertise prescription drugs to the general public because those drugs could not be purchased off the shelf. They have to be prescribed by a licensed provider. Then I realized that the ads were just a legal way to funnel money to the networks in exchange for favorable treatment for pharmaceutical companies from the corporate news.
Or a way for people to self diagnosed themselves and ask Dr's for these drugs. I always hated those commercials felt they put thoughts in people's heads . Never looked at them like they was a pay off.

• If we continue on this trajectory:
— in 10 years, $.50 out of every tax dollars Collected will collected will go to servicing the debt.
— in 15 years, 100% of tax revenue collected will go to servicing the debt.
It’s time to get healthy America!
On top of that, a more direct way for pharma to get favorable treatment is to just sponsor the news broadcast.
