here is a list of evidence that is supposedly pro Avery that was left out of the show

https://www.reddit.com/r/MakingaMur...defense_information_that_was_left_out_of_mam/

The comments in that article are interesting as well. One claims that somewhere in the records there is testimony that one of the investigators investigated Avery's car first, and then, without changing gloves, investigated the Halbach car starting with the hood. No clue if that is truthful though.

There's also discussion of the cut on his finger, noting that court records show that investigators noticed that Avery's finger was conspicuously bandaged, hiding the cut from which he supposedly bled in the car. However, news reports featuring Avery on his property shortly after Halbach was reported missing show no such bandage, which would be consistent with Avery's story that he cut it moving some metal objects sometime before his arrest.

Yeah the Reddit threads there are out of control. Seems like many have read every document and basically watched the entire trial.

So you think the reason the jury didn't go not guilty is because they feared they would be framed as well?

Absolutely and that possibility was raised in jury deliberations by two members with family/connections on the police force. After The first vote had 7 not guilty 3 guilty 2 I don't know which is reasonable doubt to me. That is why they split the verdict they thought it would cause a hung jury and retrial and get them off the hook for letting him go.

Btw I think the police did a terrible investigation (again) after they decided he was guilty and wanted to assure a guilty verdict. I think it was Brendan's step dad and brother who lied on the stand. They also could easily assist framing him.

Man that evidence in favor of the defense is weird. At least that covers the trucker statement. That car left the yard and came back somehow. So unless you think she was killed immediately upon arrival something crazy happened that is not the story we currently have.

IF she was wearing different clothes that adds some sense of oddness too because her friends were waiting on her at the Halloween party but she never showed up for it.

I will say that the key is so odd. Because why would you burn everything else she had but not that damn key? I mean that is just stupid.

Have to laugh at the mob acting like Bill is the one being unreasonable here.

Considering he is posting between 50-75% of the posts on some pages in this thread. Yeah, he is being unreasonable. Anybody can believe whatever they want but saying it fifteen times doesn't make it the truth/accurate.

You believe the jury was scared off the police? I'm sorry, but that's out there brother. A man that committed murder is eventually going to go free because of paranoid people on the Internet, that's the truth in all of this.

Just replying to people that responded to a post Brady. Why do you care how much I post? If it bothers you don't open it or ignore me, it's simple bro.

It bothers me because you're coming off as exactly the type jury foreman who gets innocent people locked up. You wear the weak down. After you pound your fist on the table enough and holler your opinion ten times more than all the other jurors combined they just want to get away from you. So they agree or "compromise". You're right about ignoring you though. Should have done that forty posts ago. Since I won't see it no need to respond. Of course, you will because you can't help yourself.

What do you call the guys posting the crazy nonsense as truth? You labeled me something I'm not, I was in the same place as many of you when I first saw the documentary.
You act like I'm the only one expressing an opinion in this thread, and yes I'm passionate about it. Because when you choose to ignore the whole trial, and let a documentary frame your opinion that's a dangerous precedent.

Since you've obviously kept track of my posts diligently you HAD to see that I said the documentary provided reasonable doubt, but as a responsible citizen you should be able to realize to make an informed decision we should see ALL the info.

I don't give a rip what you think about me, I just don't. I trust my judgement over yours

I think he is innocent. He had way to much to lose with the lawsuit. The county had everything to gain. I'll take it a step further. I think the cops killed her and completely set him up 100%.

Bill I've posted some left field scenarios but I've acknowledged with what was collected it isn't likely.

What do you think of the evidence for the defense that was also left out? You asked me about that trucker and I knew it was legit.

I'm about 35x more scared that you are a free man than I am of thr potential of steven avery becoming a free man.

I don't think it would be unreasonable that he would see an SUV leaving the road.

I think it would be a lot more damning if he knew the make and gender of the driver.

You haven't posted to any other thread in a week. I am 99% convinced you are involved in the cover-up.

That's not surprising really, since you think it's a cover up in the first place and ignore the obvious.
You probably bought into the loose change BS too, oh and I'm sure you think the kids at Sandy Hook weren't really killed either.

The theories you have accepted and our parroting here make no sense in light of the evidence. You are simply clueless.

I think it's possible that avery killed her, but it didn't happen in the garage, didn't happen in his house, the key was planted, his blood was planted and those bones were not burned in a common bonfire. So really, all of the evidence the state used to convict him could have and probably was planted after he was arrested. The only thing they couldn't have planted afterwards was the rav4, which the more that comes out about the evidence, seems extremely likely.

I'm pretty certain that he did it. Too much out there that they didn't show in the documentary.

I'm also pretty certain that the police planted evidence and the jury probably shouldn't have convicted him based on the state's story. Which is pretty much (at least the second part) exactly how I feel about Adnan Syed as well.

Easy to see how both are possible and are likely the case. The point of the show was that the criminal justice system is totally borked, which is tough to disagree with after a viewing.

Bill would convict Avery based upon testimony that doesn't even exist (nor any evidence) and the prosecution presented a completely different theory. He's convinced solely by the story of a 16 year old kid with a 70 IQ which police coerced him and subsequently had dozens of other confessions that conflicted with that.

And somehow that's considered to be a reasonable opinion by some?

You're embarrassing yourself with the level of paranoia you have, you literally said I scared you more than Avery, Jesus Christ I hope you're a kid.

You really think the cops planted it all? I feel bad for you man, you need to put down the mt dew and unplug for awhile.

Vandalay, where did I say anything about convicting or that I think he's guilty solely based on Dasseys confession?

You'd let a guy out of prison that was convicted of murder because you got emotional after watching a documentary that was made to make him look framed.

You keep saying that but I assure you that I have watched, read, and researched more evidence in this case than you have. My opinions are well documented on here and I never once said or alluded to that.

And you've said for days that you believe the initial Dassey confession, which goes against the prosecution's theory of what happened.

I mean, you're honestly completely ignorant and willing to ignorethe evidence that makes it likely that a great deal of that **** was planted. You're dangerous too, because you as someone with potential influence over a criminal case (as a juror for example) would be terrifying.

Not to mention the fact that you think the dassey confession had any credibility at all is like on dipshitcon level 1 status.

Do you think it was ok that avery served 18 years for a crime he 100% didn't commit?

Bill I was asking about the revelations in general honestly like the same lady being used. In the rape case that found Avery's hair(clearly a lie) that was once again used in the murder case. Just in general I mean that is pretty key stuff too!

I believe the kid was telling the truth when he described what happened.

You make assumptions, and jump to conclusions. You have no idea how much I've read or watched on this.

I simply think he murdered and raped her, I don't think it's a grand conspiracy.
He thought she was attractive and was horny, she refused him and he took it.

Part of that time was for another crime. But no I don't think it was ok.
The cops screwed up, the victim screwed up identifying him, but I'll cut her some slack, and most importantly if he did indeed have 22 people that were with him all day the jury screwed up.

Shut the F*ck up with your drama. Why would I be dangerous? Because I look at the actual evidence and not extreme possibilities? That makes me dangerous? Would you want someone on your jury that would look at only the facts, or what they think might have happened even though the evidence points another direction.

I've only watched the 1st 4 episodes so...No way Avery killed her and what the pd and his investigator did to Dassey is beyond deplorable. If people can't see his confession was coerced then you have issues. I mean they fed him the answers they wanted...how about when they kept asking him about what happened to her head, something with the head and when they don't get what they want the 1 says OK so who shot her in the head. I mean come on. Then his pd investigator makes him sign the I'm sorry confession statement after he says he didn't do anything and sets up a meeting with the investigators and tell them Dassey wants to meet with them. WTH! Disbarred and prison time sounds about right to me for them. I feel so bad for that kid he just didn't know how to stand up for himself.

So Avery is going to kill her and leave her car on the property? No chance. If you notice the blood by the ignition its clear to me(I hope his lawyers caught it) there are 2 spots like someone took a quetip or something and applied the blood there. It's very obvious. How about the blood vile in file with all the seals broken and a pin hole in the top. Hello! Clearly says tampering. That alone should cause all blood evidence to be thrown out. No fingerprints but blood in and on car, total BS. His DNA on key but not her's, not possible. No question the key was planted. It took 7-8 searches to find it...get out a here! And who found it? One guy who isn't even suppose to be there and I believe he finds the bullet as well after multiple searches. If your BS alarm isn't going off you clearly don't have one. The county was fixing to lose their *** and they weren't about to let Steven Avery get away with it!

In my opinion and everybody has their own no way he did it or the kid and no evidence to show he did. I believe the sheriff's dept had her killed and only a very select few know it and pinned it on Avery. How unjust is it that they took over that place for an unlimited time and denied the whole family access all while doing multiple searches of Avery's trailer. What police agency does that many searches on a place like that(Avery's trailer)...the answer is corrupt ones! No I don't have all the facts but what are the facts? My opinion

Interesting spinoff question:

What evidence was presented that Teresa was raped?

The only evidence that was presented was the Dassey confession in the Dassey trial. There is zero physical evidence that she was raped. There was no evidence presented, nor the the prosecution state as much in the Avery trial.
