Males competing in female sports.

Do males belong in women's sports?

A couple of points of clarification are needed here.

1. Mack Beggs was born female. He wants to wrestle against males as he is transitioning to male. The Texas UIL (similar to KHSAA) forced him to wrestle with girls because he was born female. It seems to me the steroids he is taking for the transition should be considered performance enhancing and he should be disqualified because of that.

2. Titania McGrath is a parody twitter account run by a British comedian.

I try to avoid conspiracy theories, but people in government are sensible enough to know this is horse crap, and they’re going along with it, anyway. What the heck is going on?

Thanks Mr. Obvious.

It's Ike that on all forums. You can betcha the Soys read it every 20 mins though. The thread view count tells the truth.
With Jerry Springer off the air, they have lost the ability to sit in the audience while rubbing thighs and holding hands and exchanging furtive glances. Where do you expect them to go? You need to learn some tolerance towards those pansexual snowflake faeries. After all, they allege that they are human, too.

It’s not happening with only 50 D senators, though it’s needed to reflect what the actual populace of the country is, which is liberal, not some stuck in the 1930s mentality that conservatives have.
I wonder which country you're talking about. Bernie says that 35% of self-identifying Dims are progressives or socialists, and he used that argument 3 weeks ago to claim that they were entitled to more Cabinet seats. According to Gallup, 30% of Americans identify as democrat, 30% identify as republican, and 40% indentify as independent. That's the latest from a Gallup poll that's been taken monthly for years. Check it out-- https://news.gallup.com/poll/15370/party-affiliation.aspx .

So, taking Bernie at his word, and this is the one thing he would probably know, 35% of the Dims' 30% is about 10% of the US population. Following your logic, 10% of the SCt should be progressive and socialist, and another 20% should be liberal (assuming, which I don't, that all Dims are liberals or progressives). So, that's 2.7 Justices. You already have that. By the way, only 45% of Dims call themselves "liberal", according to Pew. Moreover, well over half of the US opposes TG women participating in women's sports.

According to Gallup in 2018, 70% identified as moderate or conservative, 26% as Dim, and ONLY 1/2 of those Dims identified as liberal. So, in 2018, 13% of the US identified as liberal/progressive. My point is that the number of progressives, socialists and liberals expressed as as a %age of the US population is fairly constant and steady. If you want 13 to 15% of the SCt to be liberal and progressive, that sounds good to me.

According to the numbers, you're a member of a tiny minority with an outsized voice for the moment. It's revealing that you want over 50% of the SCt to reflect your minority views. Narcissism?? Delusion?? Spoiled Child Syndrome??

If he really is in Boston, then he is probably basing his opinion on his surroundings. Since he is not really all that bright, he probably doesn't understand that one liberal city does not necessarily mean that the whole country is liberal. If he lived in Utah, he would assume that America is majority Mormon.

You're absolutely right. He may not know that he's handing out grossly incorrect misinformation. The claim that liberals and progs are over 50% is overstated by at least 300% (actual support 13% or less, not 50+%). My post assumed he knew he was repeating the left's bogus claim that they try to sell to the uninformed. If he didn't know he was posting misinformation, then the last 5 words of my post were too harsh.

So far I haven’t heard anything in this thread to change my opinion on this idiocy. Aside from “you should do whatever TF you want”, there’s been no arguments supporting it.

You’d think an issue that warrants a first day EO would have at least a few “enlightened” supporters who are willing to explain it, but it seems even those who have no complaints, if they exist, are too embarrassed to admit it.
They should be. Its a joke to even suggest this crap is rational. To hell with letting these fringe lunatics try to push the rest of us around

Count the votes. Every election cycle, the Democratic/left candidates outperform the Republican/right candidates on a national scale.

and for the record, i live in area that just voted for a liberal President for the first time in my life.

Does this mean that men can now compete in other womens things because I would be all for Luke Bryan winning the CMA female vocalist of the year award.

Seriously? You're supporting your statements by silently alleging that everybody who votes for a Dim is a progressive, socialist or liberal? That is actually humorous.

Don’t be ridiculous.

Or did he decide to identify as a woman today and I missed it? Because if so then absolutely they can. (I think he’d be a they/them. Just a hunch)
