Who the heck is Butler this year?

Defense looked OK, all things considered, but the offense was non-existent tonight against a much-improved MC defense. Defense eventually totally wore out against the big MC front. Special teams were 1st game shaky as well.

I'm guessing that Butler doesn't lose another game in the regular season, but there's a LONG ways to go on offense for Butler to get to the point that they're a legit playoff threat.

I think Butler is probably top 15 in the state right now, but I wouldn't have them in the top 10 until some of the offensive woes get ironed out. Mallard Creek, obviously, has state title written all over them in the early going.

MC and WF if they go big will be a classic. SC had 10 sacks against HHS we had one last week that tells me all I need to know about MC! They are very damn good and SC is no slouch when they play for 4 quarters!

I wouldn't count out Heritage. They looked strong tonight in control of Middle Creek all along. Very big on both sides of the ball and at least 4 studs on defense. The QB throws a great ball and the TB is outstanding.

They do have some nice pieces getting the kid from Millbrook makes them a threat. He is probably the best looking defensive athlete in the state along with the kid from West forsyth.

That's true....it would be a great game. But, with the 4A class playoffs down to 48 this year, there's a chance they maybe in seperate divisions.

They are. I think they will walk to the ship. Now the WF game could be a good one but Creek is so deep. I just don't think WF has that type of depth on the lines.
