Definitely a good hireby UNC but a tough gig for a first time head coach. He'll have his work cut out for him.

Everyone is looking for a scoop, so any report that someone is leading or is hired spreads like wildfire as if it's true.

Why would anyone in their right mind think Auburn's website would announce Malzahn was hired before UNC's sites would announce it? I realize he's at Auburn, and I realize there is a good chance he's really UNC's front runner, but I wouldn't take their word on whether or not he's hired.

thinks its self imposed penalty is enough, but they had a coach basically being paid by an agent. USC will be screaming bloody murder if UNC gets off easy.
